Beautiful course
I just loved the golf course we played at Ventana Canyon, I believe the Canyon Course. The mountains and really just the whole area is really beautiful. The course was a blast. It was tough, but it was fair. Great experience !
Quick recovery
Staff had the courses in great shape considering they had a deluge of rain and very significant flash flooding the day before I played. The course was wet and soft which made it play a little more easily. Still pretty difficult. The course was truly pristine for late July in Southern Arizona. It is a great place. Especially December through March!
Disappointed
Played the Canyon course today after hearing how the Mountain course was in such great shape. Less than impressive, greens were recently plugged and need atleast 2-3 weeks to get better. Fairways were marginal.
Great course
Greens were trop dressed recently..still had some sand but course was very nice. Staff were great..course great..definitely will play again.
Loews Ventana
The greens were so perfect they looked unreal, which doesn’t always react well to amateurs. Great course with gorgeous layouts and greens.”
Awesome anniversary present
My husb has played this course in the past, but it was my first time (i just rode along). He has been wanting to play again so i surprised him as part of his "spoiling" day. Since most places are closed we decided to each take a day and spoil each other for our anniversary. This course was AMAZING!! The views of the mountains and city were breathtaking!
We had a wonderful day together, which led to a memorable night
Great Course
Course layout and condition were excellent.
Pace of play OK. Staff was courteous. Good value for the price. Clearly once the best tracks in Tucson.
Great course.... except....
Great course, great layout! Condition is immaculate other then the Inconsistent greens. Greens were in great shape but in the front 9 6 out of 9 were really slow. The back were all fast which was great. All in all I’ll be back again!
Thanks for leaving us a review, Cervaza. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Fun!!
Great course..9.6 HC...Hadn't played since Nov. ...fair course!!....was 15 over on 7 holes and still broke 90..happy with that...didn't putt well but greens are fantastic! Thanks!
Thanks for leaving us a review! We're glad you enjoyed your time at Ventana Canyon and hope you'll come see us again soon.
Another Great Day On the Canyon Course At Ventana Canyon
If we would have been able to make any putts during our round our Review would be perfect. The course is in great condition, as always. The fairways are like carpet and unlike many other Tucson area courses, Ventana has sand in the bunkers. Outstanding golf course, and very well run!
Thanks for leaving us a review, Michael. We hope you'll come see us again soon!
Thanks for leaving us a review, Jeffe. We hope you'll come see us again soon!
Ventana Cyn
Golf course in nice condition. Hard to find clubhouse no person to take clubs . Takes a while to get to the first tee . And again for 9. Th tee to 10th tee . Course was playable greens tricky.
Thanks for leaving us a review, WBH. We're glad you enjoyed your time at Ventana Canyon and hope you'll come see us again soon!
Might have the best greens
Arguably the best greens I’ve played or just good as any and I played all over the country. Very impressed.
Thanks for leaving us a review, KMan. We're glad you enjoyed your time at Ventana Canyon and hope to see you again soon!
interesting
greens on course much faster than practice green. dormant areas around green overwatered and can be muddy or bare. greens very slick. fairways and traps in good condition other than that greens very firm and require shot to be on correct side to get good look for putts to hole.
should have a full driving range(only 225 yd max)
Thanks for leaving us a review, we're glad you enjoyed your time at Ventana Canyon and hope you'll book another round with us soon!
Canyon Course
Lovely setting with spectacular Mountain views. Longggg cart rides from green to tee box. Come early because the first tee is a long cart ride from the range and pro shop. Save some energy because 18 is a challenging hole with a well defended green..

Ventana Mountatin review
Course is in great condition and the views are very good. Tees, fairways and greens are all great. A strange layout because two 18 holes courses are shared by a private club and a Loews resort about 1/2 mile away.. It is 1/2 mile cart ride from check in to the range and 1st tee for the Mountain course. The pace of play was terrible on the first nine, taking 2.5 hours. A group ahead dropped out, presumably because of slow play, and we still waited behind the group ahead of them!
We appreciate you leaving us a review, and we apologize for any pace of play issues you may have faced on the course. We hope you'll book another round with us soon!
