About Resorts at Ventana Canyon: Loews and The Lodge
Tucson's Ventana Canyon development is home to a residential community and membership, 36 holes of Tom Fazio-designed golf, and two, four-star lodging properties, the Loews Ventana Canyon and The Lodge at Ventana Canyon. The Loews Ventana Canyon is the larger of the two with 398 guest rooms and suites, multiple dining areas and pools, including an adults-only pool. It also has four lighted tennis courts and a spa to go along with multiple dining concepts from fine to bar and casual. The Lodge at Ventana Canyon is smaller with just 50 suites that feature kitchenettes and oversized living areas. The Lodge has its own dining room for casual fare, the Catalina Dining Room, as well as its own pool and spa. Love this course great condition and great day. Pace was slow on the back nine other than that fabulous

I really enjoyed my round here! Practice facilities are great pre-round.
The course is beautiful....really great layout! Some spectacular views. Course was in great shape! Greens rolled very true and fast.
Only complaint would be the distance between the holes and in particular getting to #1 and #10 is basically driving the entire length of the property to get to each.. No way this course can be walked!
Otherwise an excellent golf experience!

Top notch fairways and greens, most amenities lacking a bit at the cafe food and speediness, very small check in / clubhouse area however they did have a small covered outdoor eating area All in all I would play the course again and recommend to anyone intermediate and above
Autumn golf in AZ
Fun course. Many tee options to suit golfers of all abilities.
Very good conditions.Faiwsy grass pushes ball to sit on top, never burying. However, due to relatively recent overseeeding, cart-path only mandate was a pain, requiring sometimes long walks to your ball.
Also, the Canyon course layout is wacky, with 9-10 distance over a mile! No way to walk this course.
Awesome course. Greens are still getting better from over seeding

Excellent, but no water buckets
Course grasses in exceptional condition.
Bunkers, mostly good. I question if they rake every bunker in morning preparation, as some were very firm and not fluffy….inconsistent.
Wonderful layout, no waiting, some of the best greens you will encounter in southern Arizona.
Firm, and fast, but fair…..reseeding in a week, however, Canyon course to open simultaneously, so no loss of play. Scenery and views also add to a great experience.

Beautiful Day for golf
Great golf course along with some fantastic views of Old Pueblo. Pace of play was at 3:30 hours to finish at was awesome and we did lose a few balls. Over all a must play for anyone coming in to Tucson for GOLF!!!!!
