Eighteen green Photo submitted by Rosey461 on 06/16/2014
Rookie player
Have heard about this track for eons, finally decided to take the leap. Why did I wait this long??
First rate FREE range balls hitting off turf. Putting green is huge and actually matched course conditions. Fairways in great shape, traps need sand as they are baked...and I found too many of them! Greens roll true and we're consistent in speed.
Good course
Greens are all elevated, so you need to add some club!
Great Track; great condition
The ladies played the forward tees and the men played the blue tees....perfect for both. Good challenge for all four of us. Greens were in super good shape and the service was very good, too! Would definitely play again!!!
Pipash
Enjoyed the layout. Course in great shape. Employees were very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the round was extremely slow ( 4 hours and 40 minutes) and took away from the enjoyment of playing. The layout is not that difficult and should easily be played in 4 hours.
Staff not very helpful or friendly, pace of play was very slow with No martial
Would not recommend or go back. Charged more at the course than the golf now fee. Poor service and very poor carts and miss leading info about carts having gps. For a $140 round I would expect more. TPC is less for a far better experience.
Not Enough for the $$$$$
I was charged and additional $24 dollars in addition to the $184 I paid to play. My tee time was given to someone else who decided he wanted to play with the group that was my tee time. My clubs were taken down to the carts and summarily thrown in a heap on the edge of a mud puddle from sprinkles. Super disappointed and I won’t be back.
Greens protect the course
Excellent course for all abilities. If you're playing with a high handicapper this is friendly as there are no houses to hit
Would have been nice to know there was no half way house after 9 holes to get something to eat. We were up at 6 am an hour drive to get there then after 9 holes were hungry. The cart girl came on hole 15. A little disappointing
Great condition but not very interesting layout
I hadn't played this course in a few years but had friends in town that wanted to play. Course is in great condition. We were held up on a few holes but got done in 4 hours which is pretty standard for the phoenix area this time of year. The only downside to this course is that it is just boring. Flat terrain, back and forth holes, nothing to set one hole apart from the next or previous hole. I might remember 1 hole on the entire course. I guess when you have very flat terrain and no water there is not much you can design. If you get a reasonable price, go play. Like I said, course is in great condition, greens rolled well and fairways were lush. It just take something more memorable to make we want to go back. There are a lot of great courses with very memorable holes in the greater Phoenix area.
Great change of pace from desert target golf
IAfter the challenges of target layouts like The Boulders, this lite conventional layout was a nice relief. Less punishing, and the occasional wayward tee shot didn’t end your chances. The course as in great condition and the staff was very friendly. Combined with reasonable pricing and convenient location to town, I’d definitely recommend the course and resort.
New staff
The staff here from the pro shop to the starter are miserable.
Great Coore Crenshaw
Playable and fun - conditions really nice. Walkable. Great range. Not cheap at peak times, but as good as their We-Ko-Pa course.
