In addition to nightlife and live casino action at the resort, a Topgolf was recently added to the property as well. The main outdoor pool is large and has live music and DJs during a summer series and cabanas for rent, while there are two smaller pools. Additional amenities include a spa, fitness center and a complimentary shuttle that can transport guests to area attractions. The golf club is located next door and feature 36 holes designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, the Piipash and O'odham. Both golf courses are void of residential development and feature forgiving fairways and greens on native terrain.

Solid course for a hot deal price

Great course for the hot deal prices nothing more. Fairways and rough were very green. Although the green were hard as a rock and pretty quick. It’s a sweet little feel good course. 260 yard par 3 is definitely a good little challenge! (From the tips)

Tougher than it looks

Super fast greens. Fairways are lush and generous (but I still managed to miss a couple). Greenside bunkers have almost zero loose sand so be prepared to dig hard.

Wide fairways and rough everywhere

You're always hitting from grass here which is great after playing a dozen courses in the valley with tight fairways and desert runoffs. There's rough everywhere in case you miss the wide fairways.

This was my preferred side of the 2 tracks since there's doglegs and water comes into play on a few holes. If you enjoy hitting driver off the tee and don't have the best control with the driver, play here. 11 was a fun hole - it's a dogleg left with water running along the entire left side. 18 was a fun approach to a tight green with bunkers on the left and water on the right. There are deep bunkers on the sides of the greens of a few par 3's.

Sandwich house at the turn was great, really diverse menu instead of just hot dogs, but I didn't see any signs up on hole 8 or 9 to call in orders, might have been more of an after-round thing. The range before the round was grass not turf.

Staff everywhere was friendly and helpful. My group had slow golfers and we wound up 2 holes behind the group ahead of us at the turn, I informed the ranger of the situation at the turn and asked if we could split off into a twosome which he allowed. We were able to complete the back 9 in under 90 minutes as a result. Thank you.

The North Course at Talking Stick

I golfed the North Course at Talking Stick on Sunday 12/10/23 and it was in great Condition, the greens were fast and true. The Fairways were grown in nicely and the bunkers were playing really well. The only part that wasn't good is the clubhouse being under renovation.

Fraudulent tee time

I booked the tee time for December 14th @ 10:36 for $47. & immediately got a text from my bank reporting fraudulent activity. I called the course & they said there was an opening for a single at regular price. I called TeeOff to report this & they said they would investigate as the time did not show on their system. Hello TeeOff Someone is hacking your site

The time still appears today, 3 days later. Good luck losing your money

Great course great price

Play many courses here in Scottsdale: Troon, Gray Hawk, We-Ko-Pa, McCormick Ranch and this was a great value. Only course I would put ahead of it is We-Ko-Pa but that course in $200+. They are building a clubhouse but that did not impact our round so no amenities.

Disappointed

My dad wanted to play this course for a few years. We played the north course. Fortunately we got a hot deal of 131$ a piece. Only solid thing I can say are the greens are pretty close to outstanding, but other than that it was below average. Wet bunkers(didn’t rain for months before the round), bushy tee boxes, don’t even think about going into a pro shop because it’s under construction along with the parking lot. Course was wide open and simple. No gps on carts, no waters in the coolers, 5 hour 20 minute round on a Thursday. Played lone tree down in chandler a day before for $87 and if I had to choose or recommend a course with these kind of amenities (which were none) I’d choose lone tree every day. At least talking stick gives you range balls

Slowest play due to an outing - they said we could get our money back but had to contact GolfNow to do that.

Golf course would have given us our money back but said we had to go through GolfNow . I attempted to call GolfNow and was on hold for 1 hour and 25 minutes with no answer at all.

Not happy about this customer service.

Overview

Course was in good shape. Course isn’t super exciting (no water holes) but faiways in great shape. Cart path only when I played. Just made sure to grab a few clubs on occasion. Bunkers a little hard. Played as a single hot deal for just $45 so obviously happy with that. Luckily paired up with two really nice guys who were good players. Shout out Alex and Will! Round was a touch over 4 hours. Pretty tough to lose a ball there, also starter makes it clear you should finish front in 2 hours which i liked. On the back he told me he informed group in front to pick up the pace. They were slow on greens. Staff was really nice. Once renovations are done will be a much better experience when you finish round. Right now there is no hot food.

Flat, easy, boring course

Very wide fairways. Flat. No water hazards. No doglegs. Can hit driver on every hole. Big greens. Par 70 so you only get one Par 5 on each side. An uninspiring layout but easy to go low.

Conditions were good post-over seeding. Greens were firm but weren't too fast, still cart path only in late November. Bunkers needed more sand.

Pace of play on a full course was just over 4 hours.
