The Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale

From tee to green, on every hole, The Boulders provided an outstanding layout and conditions to make for an exceptionally-pleasant golf experience. Milder temperatures ... with no one else on the course ... only added to the joy of day’s round.

I have loved playing the boulders for a long time. Unfortunately it’s way too pricey for me in the winter months, so i only play here in the summer. It’s always in good condition and pleasurable.

We played a split course , teeing off on the back 9 of the north course and finishing on the front nine of the south course . The back 9 of the north course is in rough condition, they are having a watering problem as there was make shift watering devices on nearly every hole , making play somewhat distracting. The front nine of the south course was much better , however they obviously are having issues with fairway grass and weeds . Overall I would give the experience a solid C .

Played the white tees...quite challenging but very much fun. So much wildlife on this course, Quail, bunnies, deer, bobcat, javelina, hawks.

Boulders South course is a great test for average-strong golfers. A rather hot 114 degree day with no breeze added to challenge - course in good condition and greens were excellent. Every hole is set up differently and views amazing. Desert golf at its best.

Greens are soft but run true with healthy grass. Picturesque course

We played 9 holes on the South and 9 holes on the North course......greens were in epic condition and we enjoyed the stellar mountain and boulder views!! We will be back.

Very beautiful course. Greens were in perfect shape.

The boulders has 2 courses and they usually split them so you play part of each course. They have multiple tee boxes so you can pick where you want to play from. Even in the sweltering heat of an Arizona the greens are impeccable. I don't know how they do that! The Staff are always friendly and helpful And it's just a beautiful location with beautiful views and very serene

I had a fantastic time at the Boulders. I was supposed to play the front 9 on both North and then the South, but the starter asked me if I could play the full South course instead. He said that the North was getting backed up and this would speed up play. Buddy you are singing my song. The south course was in excellent condition. The greens were extremely soft. They felt kind of spongy. Hardly any pitch marks anywhere. Very nice. They putted a little bit slower, but you just have to adjust to the speed. The different selections of tees made the course very fun and challenging. I enjoyed this course very much. P.S. I didn't catch the name of the starter, but buddy you made my day. I absolutely love it when courses make sure pace of play is moving steadily.

Played the North course. Chased the mowers around most of the day. They were very considerate. An outing was ahead of us that made the back nine 3 hrs; 3 groups waiting on each hole. Even with all that, we enjoyed the experience. We would do it again!
