We teed off at 1;24 and waited on every hole on the front 9 When we made the turn things picked up a little and we barely finished in the light at 6:15. The course was in good shape except for rocks in the sand traps and mud at along cart path to step in when getting out of cart. All in all a fun day of golf though.
Tee time was 1:24 and finished about 6:15. Course was packed and would have been later but pace picked up on the back nine. Nice fairways and greens but muddy cart paths area from watering. Still a fun day!!
Best course in the area
Played a few courses in that area and this was by far the best one. With the layout, cost and amenities. Would defiantly come back.
Love Stone Creek
This is a challenging course. The clearing of the overgrown creek is beautiful. Good move! The day was gorgeous! Pace was perfect. Player assist was respectful and good spirited.
Would play again
The course was in great shape and had a great time, but the pace of play was very slow. I teed off at 2:00 PM and only played 14 holes. We had to wait on every hole to tee off. There were multiple times we waited with 2 other groups on par 3s.
I am really looking to go back and play the course again but will probably book an earlier tee time.
Some of the greens were in terrible condition. They had bare spots on them. A lot of greens had damage around the fringe.
Difficult but fun.. it was odd no ladies golf cloths in pro shop
Course play was very slow.
Our tee time was 1:42 . We were there at 1:15 and the couple we were playing with were there also. There was no one teeing off from the time we arrived until we teed off at 1:42. After we teed of we had people hitting up behind us the whole 18 holes. If they would have let us tee off earlier we would have enjoyed our game with a much less restricted game. We had two ladies with us who were badly intimidated because they felt they were being pushed through every hole.
Stone creek Golf
We live in Wisconsin and have traveled to AZ about 5 times in the past 10 years. We have played at Stonecreek every year we are here. The course is great and the last 3 holes are definitely not an easy way to end the round. Very fun!!
Great track ... good rhetoric no follow through
Played the front in 2 hours 15 minutes. they claim if you are slow they will speed you up or make you skip holes to catch up. needless to say this did not happen on the back. it took 3-1/2 hours to play the back nine and NO MARSHALL EVER spoke with anyone
30 minutes of open course ahead...let the group behind play through!
