Slow Slow Slow

Round was very slow, course did not move very well at all. Did not see a player marshal trying to speed up play

Slow play good greens

Slow play good greens cart guy said this was the busiest day of the year so far. Five hour round. No marshals or anyone encouraging folks to move along. Greens not bad, couple of excellent driving holes for accuracy. Average Course. Good par fives 550+ interesting layout with driving range, mats, just in front of Embassy suites so a lot of pool action going on there. Overall fun day nice people to play with OK experience.

Greens and fairways are in good condition . Around some greens there are ground hog holes/piles of dirt and very bad lies. Many domed tee boxes.

Condition

Sand traps weren't very sandy and there were some rough spots around the edge of some greens. "Rough" area was dry hard pan for the most part so hit "um straight.

Stonecreek Golf Experience

Had an enjoyable round of golf. The course was in good condition other than the bunkers, which many did not have much sand in them. The price was very good compared to others in the area and given the time of the year.

Stone creek needs to hand out ball mark tools to every player and ask them to fix their ball marks on the greens plus one or two or three! Greens were tore up with ball marks!

Garbage Creek

While the golf course itself was in decent shape, the amount of garbage collected in some of the creeks around the course was unacceptable. The pace of play was also terrible. I wouldn't recommend the course compared to other slightly more expensive options around.

Great morning 9 and breakfast!

Enjoyed our early morning round. Only thing l saw that could be improved was the garbage in the rough on some of the holes. Otherwise great track for a city course!

Over seeding

This course as well as many others in the greater Mesa area need to figure a way to overseed with Rye or whatever the proper seed is so that there is a rough that is just off the Fairway. If you don't hit the Fairway every time you're hitting off hardpan

Nice layout

We played twilight started at 2:27, very slow we waited on almost every shot, our group were just average golfers but did manage to get 15 holes in. The course itself is a nice layout suitable to all levels. Biggest issue was the poor conditions of the greens not aimed at the staff but aimed at the disrespect of the golfers not repairing pitch marks and dragging their feet on the grass. Oh, and the sand traps are as hard packed as I have ever played out of. They need work

Bad experience

Went out for a twilight round. Foursome in front was really slow, but I can accept that. We got to #5 and staff was aerating the green. In the middle of our round? Really? When we finally got to #6, a person was fishing for balls in the water. He wasn't playing a round, just a neighbor who thought it was his right to be in the way of paying golfers. Also, the course paths were swarming with people out for strolls or walking their dogs. If this course insists on being a "free for all" for everyone in the neighborhood then why did they charge me money to play?
