They did not have any carts so we had to wait for that
OK Course but horrible pace
80 minutes through 4 holes is unacceptable. Staff is very nice and helpful. Value for money is not terrible. For a public course in the valley I can’t say its awful. Greens are surprisingly fast and good. Carts say player assistant is circling to monitor pace but didn’t see him once.
Great location and quick pace.
Upset with prepaid arrangement of only 9 holes. The ad was misleading on Golfnow . In no way did I understand/ think only 9 holes.
Excellent shape, excellent pace.
Love stone creek. My only issue I've ever had here is that the water collection areas stink sometimes. Lol. Love it here. If u start at v Embassy Suites you get a discount too
Theifs
Second time playing here. Wanted to give it another chance as the first time we played it was supper muddy and the greens were in terrible condition. Came back and it was the exact same thing. What made it worse is that I forgot my range finder on the cart. I called in to check if anyone had just put it on the side. They claim that they looked for it and checked and couldn’t find it. Definitely know that it was a lie because I saw it on the cart and forgot to grab it on my way out. Someone that worked there stole my nice expensive rangefinder. What’s even worse is the guy Andrew that I kept calling to check, just doesn’t care, He kept saying he would call me after he checked, and never did. I had to call numerous times to check. Bad customer service and really crappy playing conditions. Will never ever play there again. Never have I been to a course where people have zero integrity and steal players belongings. Disgusting.
Layout
Do not like the layout. No gps. No ball cleaners.
Excellent Course Conditions (despite recent rains)
Stonecreek was our first stop for golf and it it turned out great despite the area getting 2” of rain. The greens, fairways, and tees were in excellent shape! The staff were super friendly especially the bag drop team. We teed off at 12:40 and finished at 5:25pm without any waiting (we’re not the fastest players out there) even with cart path only to protect the course conditions (good decision by SGC).
Arthur Hill is very good
Challenging and yet fair. Greens rolling well and held good shots.
The traps need work. Not enough sand in bunkers made for tough shots green side. Inconsistent.
Soggy
Course was overly wet. Even down the fairway, your ball often was covered in mud. Hitting shots on fairway was guesswork due to the overly wet conditions. Bunkers were damp and thin/hard.
