Slow, cart path only for entire course, meh customer service personnel
Course just finished overseeing and it's cart path only. Golf course is better off giving push carts vs. golf carts to speed up play. Other than the friendly cart lady, everyone else is reserved and/or not enthused to see golfers arrive at the golf course. For a course that is part of the Arcis Players program, it wasn't a good sign.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I appreciate you being candid about your experience.
I do want to note that your visit was prior to my time here, and since stepping into this role, we have been very focused on improving both the pace of play and the overall guest experience. This includes reinforcing service standards, increasing team engagement, and creating a more welcoming environment from the moment you arrive.
We have also made adjustments operationally during overseed and cart path only periods to better manage flow and set expectations, as we understand how much that can impact the round.
I am glad to hear the beverage cart attendant stood out in a positive way. That is exactly the type of experience we are working to deliver consistently across the entire team.
Thank you again for your feedback!
I now know why it was affordable
Several unkempt greens. Garbage all around from the wash. No one working on cleaning. I thought it was better when I played it several years ago. Oh well. Inside staff snobby, club drop-off guys really nice. $17 for 50 range balls.
Besides overseeding, course in poor shape.
Several signs of trash flooding. Range balls all over first three holes. Rough not cut. Grass clippings all over course. Just not taken care of.
Father daughter outing
Club drop Guy was great.. kid inside at at front desk was a snob. Stunned at $17 for 50 range balls. No ball washers on the course. I understand with the rains, and this being a course along the wash for flotsam and jetsam, but garbage everywhere. Greens were so erratic with conditions, and they are above wash level. Everything here so inconsistent. Wondered where rangers were, when the front 9 was so backed up for 6 groups it was stoopid. 5½ hours on a Wed afternoon in the heat was ridiculous.
Stone Creek Golf Course
Pace of play was very slow.
The track was in bad shape.
The greens were punched two weeks ago & were very slow & bumpy!
Terrible condition
This course is not friendly to someone who just started learning golf, you gotta really be accurate with your shots otherwise you’ll end up losing most of your ball to the overgrown grass! So many times we had to find the hidden balls in the overgrown rough. Too many water and unkept bushes. There are many walking players so if you drive a cart you gotta wait on every hole.
Thank you for sharing your feedback about your round at Stonecreek Golf Club. I can understand how that experience would be frustrating, especially as you’re just getting into the game.
Our course does present some challenges, particularly with rough and desert/native areas, and we recognize that can make it more difficult for newer players. We’re currently focusing on improving playability in key landing areas and managing rough conditions to help with ball visibility and overall pace.
I also hear your point about pace with a mix of walkers and riders. Our goal is to keep flow consistent for everyone, and we’re continuing to work on that balance so rounds feel smoother.
We appreciate you giving us a try and hope to provide a more enjoyable experience next time.
Thank you for your 5 Star review of Stonecreek Golf Club! We look forward to seeing you out here again soon.
Disappointing
Actually the course is in better shape than the last year's! But if you start between 1pm and 2pm for 18 holes and come to Hole 10, every time I played there are players who start on Hole no 10. What policy is this that they let players start after 3pm on Hole 1 and Hole 10?
There are no rules after 3pm, everything goes.
Last time I played I wanted to play Hole 13 and a single player drove past me on the teebox of Hole 13, teed up his ball and told me he is playing thru... Mind he didn't played Hole 12. What is this?
tarifachris, Thank you for your review. Our AGM will be reaching out to you shortly for some more details. We value any response that will help us improve.
Bad conditions
Played there this morning with my sons and really disappointed. Started on the back 9 and the course was full of debris. No warning and no offer for a discount or rebook. All the greens were in bad shape due to aeration and again no heads up. Random Walkers were everywhere on the back 9 too and a homeless person on hole 8.
ernieas3we’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your round at Stone Creek. Like many courses in the Phoenix area, we’re dealing with the storm from the storm from last week. That said, your feedback is valid, and we’re working hard to improve conditions. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Course is in horrible condition
I’ve played Stonecreek many times but not for a few years. What a shock! The course is in deplorable condition and not worth even the inexpensive summer rates.
u125416342, we’re sorry to hear the course didn’t meet your expectations during your recent visit. We understand your disappointment and are actively working to improve conditions. Thank you for your past support—we hope to earn another chance to welcome you back.
Ok course, staff needs fixing.
Course was in ok condition, ranger was rude and not only tried to tell us on the first hole what we can’t do, but also tried to force us to pick up our pace of play. Pace is 4hours, and we were on track. Definitely won’t be back to this location.
Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience and that our ranger's approach came off as rude. Our goal is to maintain pace while making sure all guests feel respected. We’ll address this with our team and appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
Thank you for the 4-star review. We look forward to seeing you back out again soon!
