Guests may enjoy rooms and suites overlooking the course, which also deliver in space and comfort. The hotel is within 6 miles of hiking trails at Camelback Mountain and is conveniently located near a large outdoor shopping mall as well as minutes from Scottsdale Airport and 60 different restaurants. DO NOT GOLF HERE!
I have never seen a course in worse shape than Stone Creek. Tee boxes were a mess, the fairways need watered desperately and the greens are terrible. Looks like the course has given up on any kind of maintenance. We got ripped off for $120 each to golf this mess. Very disappointing.

Recent reviews were not accurate with the conditions as the greens were very hard and some just not good at all. Fairways were in rough shape as they too need water!

What a terrible disappoint. The course is in terrible shape. Not looked after or maintained. Should have clued in on the practice range as you couldn't find a level spot to hit off of.
The fairways are dirt and the greens are very rough. The tee boxes were a mess with tees littered all over and you had to hunt for level ground to hit off.
Too bad as the lay out has potential but this course is in BAD shape and needs a lot of work to be playable again. We felt very ripped off playing here and will never golf here again.
On a bright note, the staff were very friendly and the beer was cold.

Nice course layout. Preferred they had kept some of bushes/trees. Loose water and some muddy areas. (? Overwatering some)-
Food service is great! Wish beverage cart was out more.

Too costly
Booked this tee time two weeks in advance for over $300. Considering the condition of the course I overpaid

Seem Better
We've played this course several times over the last few years and have seen it in better shape. We play around 30 rounds a year and have never experienced tee boxes so hard. A few times we had to use another person's tee because we could not get the tee into the ground.

Make the first impression better
Outside service, like the crabby teen hostess at a nice restaurant can give you a bad first impression. Don’t put a non multi tasker in that position. After that, course was a great value and in pretty good shape. Bunkers were done by someone that doesn’t know what base layers and bounce mean. Greens were consistent, fairways in 7/10 condition. Layout is solid, inside guys and outside service (drink cart and end of round outside service) all good!

Wouldn't Go Back
Course was in terrible shape. Plus, you have people on bikes and walking on the cart paths. Don't they realize they are on a golf course? I was getting ready to tee off and this couple just continues walking in front oblivious of what is going on.
Course was in terrible condition. Looks like people were taking dirt bikes on the hills. Kid and his dad flying a kite on the golf course.
Won't be back.

Stone creek golf course
The couse in general is fun. What's not fun is I've played there three times and all three times there's been something wrong. First time I played there the range was closed and they failed to give a refund so your forced to play even without range or warm up time. Second time I played there they bumped my start back 40 minutes because one of the regulars there didn't want to have a fourth player in his group of three. This isn't a country club or private course it's public! The third time I got yelled at by a course manager for slow play when they started us 20 minutes late. So basically start us late then force pace! This was absolutely ridiculous! I never play this course again completely poorly managed.

Not worth the money
I was disappointed with the maintenance of the greens. Bare or brown spots because of over cutting of the greens. No cart monitor, I had to load up unused golf app to have any sense of the distance. And then, it was only to the center of the green and in some cases, it was a good 10 to 15 yards closer or further than the center. Note, I left my range finder at home but for this price, I expected to have an on cart system.

Not well kept up
A decent track, but lots of dirt and bunkers not well raked. Practice balls all over the course. Would not play there again for the $100 it cost on special.
