Good mid-level course
Not likely that anything about his course will blow you away, but not much will disappoint you either.
Course was in solid shape, friendly staff, good (although not terribly unique) layout.
Bunkers were a little washed out / lacking sand in spots, but overall a very playable and enjoyable golf course in a good location.
AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!
The staff was amazingly attentive. The cart girl was wonderful and the course played beautifully with challenging yet manageable holes and tremendous variety. Great photos of lakes turtles prairie dogs and bullfrogs. Beautiful!
Ni e layout, but awful bunkers
Very challenging layout with well placed hazards and bunkers. However, the sand in green side bunkers was grainy, hard and packed; similar to sand taken from a river. Greens were consistent and slow; fairways very nice and most ree boxes were relatively level. Glad I played the course, but won't return.
Courses that Challenge you
The course is set up so you need to be in control of your clubs especially your irons and wedge play. Greens were rock solid and bumpy so balls tended to bounced off of them. Roll was not true which made it more difficult.
great shape
This was about my 10th round there and found the condition of the course to be outstanding, best I have ever seen it. From tee to green, no issues whatsoever. I went off early as a single, so pace of play wasn't an issue. Thanks to Bruce in pro shop for taking care of me early that morning, real professional.
After an outing
Tough start to the round being 40 mins behind made for a slow day. Great layout great condition. Greens are fast and fair
Very Good Course, Do Not Hit To The Right
It was the first course that I played last year and I didn’t really care for it, but this year I’m a bit more consistent and I enjoyed it much more. The course was in very good condition, one trap looked a bit muddy, besides that all good. If you do slice or have a fade to the right, you better bring some extra balls. Definitely more trouble to the right. I’ll be back, good experience.
I am Canadian and I like the course, great value!
Great value, a bit of slow play on first nine but not too bad!
so many other courses options out there
5 hour round waited on every tee and every fairway
sandtrap condition was very poor many had no sand at all and others had a thin layer of sand that had not been raked / groomed for days
Great course
My biggest beef was the pace of play unfortunately it was a very busy day when I golfed so maybe this is not the norm.
Challenging
This is a good year this golf course. Large waste and fairway bunkers. Good amount of water. Keeps you on your toes.
Worst Pace of play ever
I’ve never in my lifetime had to wait on all 18 tee boxes, sometimes waiting for not just 1 but 2 groups. I’m not 100% on who dropped the ball but it was horrible.
Not just value for the money.
I play 3-4 rounds a week in the valley, so am always looking for a decent deal. Thought I was driving 25 miles for one of those and was happy to do so. But then Ingot there and found a course that has to be maintained as frequently and well as any other course in the valley. Including ones that charge over $100 a round this time of year. Not an easy course either, plenty of water holes, huge rolling hills, greens lined with bunkers. This course has it all and I can wait to come back. Less than $50...wow.
