Guests may enjoy rooms and suites overlooking the course, which also deliver in space and comfort. A complimentary breakfast buffet and free drinks at happy hour in the hotel lounge are additional amenities available, not to mention an outdoor pool. The hotel is within 6 miles of hiking trails at Camelback Mountain and is conveniently located near a large outdoor shopping mall as well as minutes from Scottsdale Airport and 60 different restaurants. StoneCreek Golf Club
The first three holes in front of the clubhouse were well manicured and watered. Looked amazing, and beautiful, then the conditions started to really deteriorate. Greens were nice, but the back nine was terrible. The last 12 holes travel parallel to a creek, out and back, so it is water and brush on the right, the whole way. The course is surrounded by homes, hotels and condos and there are people out walking on the cart paths, ALL.DAY. LONG!!!!! Constant drone of leaf blowers and maintenance equipment. There were even people walking along the waters edge looking for golf balls, in the middle of our round. Not a bad course, just way too many distractions to make me want to come back. There was a shotgun start outing/tournament going off the back nine, while we teed off on the front. Pace of play was not bad, but we were also told by the pro shop to play slowly , to avoid stacking up behind the outing. Considering the location, and conditions, not a bad value for golf in Scottsdale, but there were other courses that we played that I enjoyed more. We didn’t want to stay for lunch given the number of people in the clubhouse due to the outing.

Fairway and greens OK. Shrubs and ditches took away from the experience. Lakes full of garbage. Back nine layout Micky mouse⛳️

Challenging and enjoyable
Very interesting and different type of desert course. Greens were fast enough and true to read however the speeds varied. The cart service was excellent with selection and the hostess was friendly and charming. The only negative is that some of the course is accessible to the non playing public on some surrounding paths.

Fun course but brutal pace of play
I really enjoyed the layout and greens rolled very nice! I loved everything about the course except the pace of play. And the Marshall just laughs. I wouldn’t come back strictly because of the pace. It isn’t fun playing 3 hours a side.

Great Course
Course was in great shape. Best fairways I have played on yet this year in Phoenix, greens were rolling good a little wet, fire at the pins day. Was finished in less than 4 hours. A fun and challenging course, great practice facility.

Worst Pace of Play in Scottsdale
Title, says it all. We only played 14 holes and left after 4 hours 10 minutes. We were waiting 2--5 minutes on every single shot. Obviously, the course is trying to cram too many folks in.
I will never go back.

Deceptively challenging
It was my first round at Stonecreek on a cold and very windy day which added to the challenge. The course doesn't look difficult on paper but I was amazed at the complexity of the greens and fairways. Half the holes are swing away with open fairways and other holes are target golf and you'd better be accurate! I will be back.

Amateur Hour
Booked early tee time, first or second of the day.
They sent us off the 10th tee, did not give a reason why.
When we made the turn, there was a line of foursomes waiting to tee off on #1.
We asked in the pro shop what was going on, they were hostile. In the end they said we should not have started on #10 and there was nothing they could do. Maybe we could play the back nine again.
We tried to do that and played a few holes, but the pace was ridiculously slow as the other morning groups were making the turn.
Meanwhile, by 9am none of the tee markers were out yet and they were still mowing the collars on all the greens.
There are lots of great courses in PHX. Do yourself a favor and play somewhere else.

Better than expected!
Excellent course conditions. A tough course for first-timers. There are a lot of hidden traps and tricks you need to avoid to score well. Looking forward to coming back!

Homeless at Stonecreek
I will NOT play this course again until they remove the homeless people living on the course in the bushes! Yes, I am serious.
I should have taken a picture to add to my post, because they don't show you that on their website.
This is supposed to be a resort course. NOT!!

As a Beginner
From the dropping of of bags to the lunch in the dinning area THIS was a great experience. My wife who plays said she loved the VIBE of the course and club. Which is very rare to get from her.
The course was challenging because it is surrounded by homes but did have some forgiveness on the sides.
We got the 9 and breakfast deal then went to a spring training game.

Challenging course
Nice layout, good sand traps, some water carrys, fairly wide fairways. Nice greens, good to them.
