Be careful straying from the fairways
I appreciate this course immensely. Have only played it twice and had the pleasure of playing with Curtis both times. Great player, great course.
Only downfall would be not having a course book to know the extent of the hazards.
Highly recommended, especially after my eagle on 9.

Good course needs course Marshall supervision
Great course friendly people but no control with the course Marshall we had 7 foursomes backed up on the 12th hole, we were told this “always happens” at Stonecreek- no sign of the course Marshall to move things along - some of the groups were drinking and messing around slowing down play- don’t mind having
Fun but a 1 hour wait on each hole is not acceptable

Disappointed
Played here for the first time with my girlfriend. We gave the course a 4 out of 10. The first three holes are great but it goes downhill from there. On the 9th hole both bunkers by the green were filled with water to the point you couldn't even grab your ball. The back nine was tight and the landscape around us was very dirty. I've heard good things about the course in the winter but we were pretty disappointed with the conditions and scenery when we played. Staff was very friendly but not a course I would want to play again.

Lack of Communication
When we checked in no one told us the back 9 was closed. When we started on hole 10 a staff member yelled at us. Totally wrong approach. We ended up playing the front 9 twice. Course is in need of significant fairway enhancements.

Need a ranger
The pace of play was so bad we quit after 13 holes.
An on course ranger moving groups along would have helped

Don’t waste your money here
Such an awful experience! Almost $250 for 3 of us to play on Mother’s Day and all my mom is talking about is how bad of an experience she had.
They can’t keep children from across the street off their course. Holes 7 and 8 on front nine there are kids 11-12yo with a bullhorn heckling golfers. One kid came down on the green and threw my friends golf ball in the woods next to the green. How can stone creek course allow paying customers to be treated like this.
We chased them off and they almost got hit be cars running across cactus. They came right back and heckled us with a bullhorn all the way down 8.
These kids obviously have NO PARENTING AT HOME. Do a better job of policing your course stone creek. These parents obviously ain’t gonna do it for you.

Need a marshall
We got stuck behind a group of 6 guys who cared less about us or the two in front of us. Both of us had to skip holes as we weren’t going to get in before dark following g this group of (xxxxxxx) I made the person , a younger male, of the 6 in the group and verified that it was NOT allowed.
