Scenic and Fun to play
Some great views here on the course that sits right against Camelback mountain. We played the Desert/canyon nines.
Nice practice facility, good people , pace of play was fine. A couple downhill par 3's the slope rating on the range finder helped out. A couple holes i found a little tricky being the first time there. This is definately a placement type course. Happy Hr on the patio is a must.
Very nice course.
Enjoyable course to play that is well maintained. Some very interesting holes and incredible views. I am looking forward to playing here again.
Beautiful day, beautiful course
I was pleased the staff at the Phoenician treated us as regulars even though we got a great deal through golf one.com. The course was beautiful, well manicured, the pace was relaxing, and not too difficult. I highly recommend this course to tourists in the Scottsdale area.
slow play is an issue
Course is in great shape but pace of play is a problem As it's a resort course, the player assistants don't move people along.
Great resort course
Weather was perfect and so was the condition of the course. Pace of play was somewhat slower than I would have liked but otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable day. Staff and amenities were super.
Superb
Everything about this course wonderful - greens and fairways were fabulous, pace of play was excellent, and viewpoints were out of sight! Each course also had some challenging but fun holes. If you get a chance to play this one, don't miss out.
Enjoyable Round
I enjoy playing this course. The views are fantastic and guaranteed to please. It is a short course but has it's challenges and keeps your interest. On this day I played the Desert and Canyon courses, both were in top condition. The pace of play was excellent. (3.30 min) If you can get a rate under $80.00 jump on it.
Flight of the Phoenix
This course much more than a simple resort course. Very interesting.topography and a lot of elevation changes.
Best in the Valley
Great course. Very enjoyable , the views from the tee boxes are incredible and my guess also enjoyed playing the course
Greens were very good for January.
Course layout was confusing in places. One of staff in pro shop was less than friendly especially compared with other staff. Good pace of play. Overall, enjoyable.
impressive
Excellent couse. Played Desert and Canyon. Slowed by 5 some ahead of us. Found putting difficult.
Perfect for medium to high handicap
Shorter course with plenty of landing room area for t shots but difficult enough to satisfy the lower handicap golfers. the Fairways and Greens were in great shape. Very nice practice facilities. Will return for sure.
too short
The course is too short and they charge $10 for a small hot dog. Greens are nice.
great course and scenery
helpful staff, beautiful resort and golf course. GolfNow app was responsible for us playing this great course.
Great day to play
Course was in great shape as always. Fairways well cut and greens fast.
The course was excellent!!!
I was very impressed with everything at The Phoenician. From the pro shop staff to the starters and everyone else at the Club. I really enjoyed my round of golf and we finished in 4 hours. Also, it was a perfect weather day as well.
racist cartboy
Don't play here if your skin color or eye shape is different from the haoles.
Very Pretty Corse
Very pretty course in good condition. Staff was professional. Could work on friendliness a little.
Nice resort course, but rather short.
Played the Desert/Canyon combo. The first thing you notice as you drive onto the property is the remarkable grounds. It's a nice resort. The course is not long, I was paired with two other singles and they wanted to play from the gold tees. I would have been better off playing the championship tees. Some cool par 3's with big elevation drops. The tee boxes should have been in better shape for the money it cost to play there though. We must have gotten lucky because the pace of play is supposed to be 4.5 hours and we were done in under 4.
Desert/Canyon 12/30/15
I played as a single but was paired up with a 3 some, played only nine holes (Desert) because I had previous dinner plans. Pace of Plays was busy with only a short wait at times. I had a great time and will play this course again, will recommend to friend.
Why Not? Do those factors effect your golf game?
