Tyipcal Tubac
Great greens that roll true. Fairway and rough in really good shape, traps are playable which is not the case at many in the Tucson/Green Valley area. Everyone was super, the bag guy, one from the Spring that was abit surly was still not the most friendly guy but it was just him, everyone else was most pleasant and friendly.
Flat course
Lots of leaves on the ground. Sand bunkers were good. Flat course. Nothing special about the course. However, I do recommend visiting Tubac Village nearby after your golf game. A pretty town with lots of galleries and history.
Tubac Review
played Otero to Rancho. Rancho nine in better condition, for 90 dollars expected more. No ball washers, tee blocks faded, just generally "ok" conditions. We played San Ignacio in GV the day before, much superior conditions.
I like Tubac and the atmosphere but at 90 dollars its not a good value. Otero 9 overseeding was poor and greens just so so
Great course
Although I found it a little pricey it was a pleasant experience and the course was in very good condition. I golfed it about 12 years ago and was amazed at the improvement.
Golfing at the Tubac Golf Resort
Very enjoyable course to play. Beautiful scenery, some holes very difficult, which adds to the challenge.
The lounge and restaurant are excellent. Staff and service were first class. But the decor and furnishings make the place for an after round drink or a dinner with friends an absolute must.
Will play this course over and over again.
Great staff in the well stocked Pro Shop.
Tremendous driving range, practice bunkers, chipping green and putting greens are second to none.
Don’t miss the opportunity to play here!
Great day, fun course
The course is worth the $85 fee. It has a unique feel and each nine has a different character. Rancho is my favourite but Otero and Anza each have their charms. It is in better shape than it was a few years ago which I’m delighted to see. Stables is a great bar / restaurant , sitting on the patio is a great experience, not to be missed.
Totally Tubac
Had a great day with friends. All four of us enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Stables Grille. Service, quality and quantity of the food and drink were exceptional. We then proceeded to play Otero and Rancho. Wonderful. Like Costner, we too hit it in the water on #4!
Tubac GC
This is a very nice course, and has a friendly staff. The layout was kinda odd as go go by the club house in hole 5. The food at the Cantina was awesome!
Always a fun course to play.
The new nine which were incorporated into the original eighteen add a lot to the course. The course is in good shape and presents several opportunities to avoid water. One short water hole with everyone eating lunch nearby and watching you....have fun.
Go play
Other than a brief shower the round was most excellent!! And who’s gonna complain about getting a little rain in a desert?
