AZ in Sahuarita
My favorite course so peaceful and golf shop staff are awesome! Three of the best courses in one, very challenging and great fun!
Nice Setting
Great course at a nice setting .. Staff forgot that they are there because customers pay to play ...
Relocated to Green Valley in March, Tubac is a new favorite of ours!
We recently moved to Green Valley, and one of our main reasons for choosing the area was to play more golf. We have not been disappointed!!! Today was our fourth time playing Tubac because Tubac has become one of our favorite courses to play!!!
Cow Pasture
I realize this has been the hotest Summer on record. Plus,
dealing with COVID. Still, unbelievably bad except for the .greens. Some of the tee boxes were just dirt. Fairways not
groomed .Very hard to find your ball with all the debris on the fairways. Same in the rough. One of the 9 hole tracks was shut down. The ponds stunk with all the bloom. They
need to put a fountain with water treatment to clear the pond like they did on the Ranchero 9. The course is a shadow of it's former self. Hopefully they get it back.
Course in Terrible shape.
Tee boxes in terrible shape. Debri all over the course. Prople could not find balls because grass was unattended and debri was everywhere.
Otero/Anza
The fairway were poor with lots of bare spots. Greens were good..
Thye Need a Sarter and a Marshal
There are a number of un-watered/maintained areas on fairways and a few greens. I had a 9:30 tee time and was scheduled to play with a twosome. As I got to the first tee at 9:25, the lady member of the two some was teeing off and another twosome drove past them and went to the second tee. I was left to tee off alone and play as a single at a very slow pace. At the end of the round there were 6- to 8-carts and all the players noisily loitering at the 18th green. Why wasn't a marshal somewhere to get them take their noisy party to the parking lot or the cantina.
Great value for time of year
The course was in absolutely great shape. Very little summer burn at all. Greens were fast and smooth. Played 18 holes by myself in 3 hours. Well worth the drive.
Pace of play
The pace of play was very good!
We got through 12 holes in under 3 hours before the rains came and our round was done.
Condition of course
The course( fairways and greens) were in good shape
great condition
Given that we are in the middle of the AZ hot desert summer and in a pandemic, the course was green and lush. Very impressed how well its maintained at this time. Pace of play was excellent, most likely because it was a tuesday morning. staff is good, no complaints, no starter that day but inside clerk was nice. beverage cart was available so that was a plus given it was a tuesday. I had a very early tee time so i paid high, but no complaints with that given the course condition.
Needs work
Would be a great course but the conditions were in bad shape.
