Otero/Anza best combo of nines

Played this course several times over the years but had never gotten to play the Otero 9. What a hidden gem. They should pair this 9 up with Anza more often. Can skip Rancho 9 any day. Greens in great shape: rolled well. Fairways and roughs in decent shape.

Poor management

The course is great but they keep letting these big groups(maybe members) out and they all are obnoxious. Loud music, sometimes 5somes and poor etiquette. They drive up almost on the greens, hit their drives before the fairway is clear and drive up on you when you are hitting your shot. Even after the proshop was made aware of it they still did nothing! Those groups must really pay well! It could be amazing but the people running the course do not understand what real customer service is! Its a shame. Ive had problems the last 4 times out!

Great weather and playing conditions

No wait ... went right on the course. For me, it is the prettiest course I've ever played in Arizona even during mid-day as the tree canopy is quite impressive with incredible views, great fairways, and well-kept greens ... by 6:00 p.m. we were even getting cold as the temps dipped from a high of 96 to around 76 degrees. All of the holes were uniquely and cleverly designed to challenge beginners all the way to scratch golfers ... a very enjoyable experience and "must do"

Tubac golf

Had a blast celebrating wife’s birthday with good friends. Course and staff were excellent, and the dinner afterwards was really good. A very nice time on a very nice course.

Great rate and course was in very good shape. They must water a lot because the greens held the ball well and allowed for backspin.

Beautify and well maintained course.

When you got to Tubac Country Club you know you've just arrived at a very special southwestern location. The golf course lives up to the country clubs image. the green are fast and true, the fairways are green and well groomed. The entire course has some the nicest Cottonwood and Mesquite trees I think I've ever seen. I highly recommend this course to anyone how enjoys a well manicured course with beautiful scenery.

Great Resort Courses

Played the Rancho/Otero nines with the Rancho being the most challenging. Both nines in good condition albeit wet in many places on fairways. Greens were great with pin positions creating challenges for reading breaks and speed of putts. Only issue is slow play as many resort golfers are high handicappers, but having a good time.

Nice experience

We play this course occasionally and found it to be in excellent condition. We played Otero and Rancho (Anza was closed). We were allowed to go off early and joined up with two other singles. This made the round go at a perfect pace. at around 4 hours. Can't wait for a return visit.

One of our favorite out-of-town courses

Course is always interesting. We play the easier 18 of the 27 holes (Anza-otaro). Fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Traps are well groomed (but numerous). We had an enjoyable day on a challenging but very playable course.

Great Little Sunday

Traveled down I-19 from Tucson to Tubac Golf Resort, and played Rancho 9 and Anza 9. Wonderful little resort in a great town near the Mexican border. This is a very cool place to spend some time enjoying the place where Tin Cup was filmed. Give this a try, it's worth the drive!

Nice experience!

Greens were at a very good reasonable speed with some unrepaired scuff & pitch marks (really people - do better)

Wow, first time playing and I loved it

I love the 3 nines concept. I had a nine out in the trees and then a very open (newer?) concept nine. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition. The water ponds gave just enough challenge that it made you think about club selection to try and navigate them.

A Very Enjoyable Day

My brother and I played the Rancho and Anza courses and thoroughly enjoyed the day. The staff and facility were terrific, practice facilities very nice, the pace of play very reasonable, and the course was in excellent condition. I would highly recommend it to anyone regardless of your level of play. I particularly liked the Blue/White option of play, which was something I had not seen anywhere else and gave me a few extra yards. Very enjoyable day and we will certainly return.
