Love this course
I have played this course several times. It is one of my favorites.
Love all the trees
Always enjoy this course and the people. Dining after is also a treat.
Great course! I played it many times and am always impressed by the layout and staff.
Disappointing
Extremely disappointed in condition of the golf course. Approximately 1/2 of the white tee boxes were so hard you almost needed a hammer to place your tee into the soil.
The majority of the sand traps were not properly groomed before play that day.
The vast majority of the greens were not in great condition and the balls rolled erratically. One a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being the best, they rated maybe a 4 in our group's opinion.
If we had been paying full fee that day, I would have come in after 5 or 6 holes and asked for my money back given the fee for the course that day.
I have played this course for over the past 25 years off and on. Very surprised and disappointed.
Good Value for Money
Great staff and course conditions. Just a beautiful layout and a joy to play and enjoy the wonderful river basin trees etc.
It’s an ok deal only if you get the big discount. Not worth the regular price.
Tubac Golf Resort
Absolute great place to play. Three different nine holes you have an opportunity to play. If you play Ranchero it has the famous tin cup hole that was filmed in the 90s With Kevin Costner.
Anza Course..first 5 holes are not enjoyable and there was little fairway grass
Anza holes 1-5 are not enjoyable. Very little fairway grass. I personally would refuse the Anza course next time. Handicap were 29 and 13. Just not a good design.
A Challenging course for the Intermediate Golfer
This is a beautiful course set amongst old mesquite and cottonwood trees. The fairways and greens were in top shape. We played the Rancho and Otero courses (each has 9 holes for a total of 18). Each course has challenging holes that keep even the most seasoned golfers working for par. The newer holes are tough, with the older parts of the courses more forgiving. There truly is a "Tubac Triangle" that makes bogey golf a triumph. I would golf there every week if I could. The resort is stunning too.
depends on the tee you play
I am older now played white tee have more than enough distance.
Blue may i could have but funnier scorer lower from white.
Course is great always has been. Easter Sunday, i always play here after church, price was down 20 USD.
Really is a great course. Come summer time i will hit it again.
The course was in fantastic shape!
Check in was a little difficult. Range personal were great!
Flew around it!
Went out after noon and finished in 3 hours. Never saw anyone in front of us. Little short but very fun track. Greens were rolling quick and in good shape. Stay there and play. That’s what we did. Very nice resort and food is well above average. We’ll be back.
Tubac
Great course and pace of play was excellent because staff offered to move our start time up if we wanted...very nice. Missed playing the best 9... Rancho.
Always fun golf
Our favorite course in the area. Staff on the course are great, easy to talk to and accommodating. Sorry to say, pro shop personnel are indifferent and very short. Yes, no answers and not engaging. Alot of merchandise, might have purchased more but got the impression we were intruding. No one else in the shop.
Good Day at a good course
My wife and I really enjoyed our round at Tubac Otero/Rancho. We were paired with a member and his son-in-law, very nice to have local knowledge as we made it around. Great weather, some interesting holes and some fairly tight fairways. And it was an added Cool factor knowing this was the Tin Cup course.
Great course
Golf now sent two emails with two different times Very confusing and I didn’t want CC to be charged twice. I call Golf now and they messed up tee time even more!!!
Staff Awesome
The course was really busy and the staff were still extremely friendly. Course as always is in great shape.
