Summer Golf
I love playing this course. The course is in pretty good shape considering it is summer and we have had no rain. There were some patchy spots on few fairways but the greens were in great shape. Super fun course, I will be back soon.
Good course for Seniors
Watering is being done but lot of grass missing on greens and fairways
Great
the foursome in front of out twosime showed absolutely no interest in letting us play through even with no one in front of them!! Great course with less than stellar golfers!
Holding up pretty well in the heat
The course is overall in pretty good shape. Pace of play was great!! Finished in 3.3 hours. They have 2 or 3 greens that they have lost about 30% of the surface to either fungus or some other problem. The course is in transition and have not aerated yet. Not a bad track to easily get on early in the AM and affordable.
Maybe the non summer conditions are better
We went for a JGAA practice round and withdrew from the tournament because of how bad the course was.
After summer
Course fairways pretty much baked from the heat in numerous areas. I have played this course many times.
Needs alot of water and tlc. Somehow management may have been behind in watering schedules. I like the course and am sure it will improve.
Seafury
This is the first time we have played this course since last summer. It has always been your typical summer conditions some spots in the fairway and the greens are fair. However this is by far the worst shape I've ever seen it in.. the fairways are spotty as far as grass at best. The greens were okay considering but bald in some places. Too bad that the current management has let it deteriorate like this. We paid $26 with our tee off discount at 10:37 a.m. and there was hardly anyone on the course. I can see why now. We will not be back to play this course unless something drastically changes and that's not going to happen overnight.
Viewpoint has lost its point of view.
The rye grass conditions for this course in the winter is one of the best for value, but this is the worst I have seen for summer conditions. The grass is rotted and bare in more places than I can remember. I am not sure that it is a bad transition period after the winter season, or if it’s poor maintenance. It needs help
Dried out
Some greens and fairways dried out. Was thinking would be in better shape. Know it has been hot.
Would be nice if course offered free water in summer as water fountains were warm.
