Friendly Staff, Challenging Course.
I played in 2 1/2 hours, and I paid $12.92 with my Golf Pass Hot Deal. The three non-landscape staff I dealt with were awesome and super friendly. This time of year, staffing is very low, and there were some patches of brown grass, but the tee boxes, greens and fairways were in good shape. Super nice people!

Aerated , sand and slow
First off should have had a disclaimer about aerated and sand all over the front nine. Not worth the money. Green were so slow. Staff was good as always. But the course which is just an average course as a rule was in bad shape and it’s not even dead of summer yet. Won’t be back there for another 3 years. Tried but the course not the staff failed overall.
Dated 6/14/25
Do not waste$ 50 at this course. There’s minimal grass on the fairways and I’d say 80% of the tee boxes are bare.
Played 18 holes in 2 hours
Maintenance workers are working hard to keep the course in good shape. Greens have been plugged and sanded over recently. Fairways have been plugged as well. Summer Bermuda grass will be filling in quickly.

Good Times
Met up with a few Arizona residents from Oklahoma and they welcomed into there foursome and we had a great round of golf. I just moved to Arizona from Chicago and it was nice to be included in the group. The lady in the pro shop was very nice to me as well. Beverages and Ice were cold and needed as it was a 🔥 day.
Wellbpriced for the money
This is not the greatest course in the world. But it's a fun a little more than exec, but shorter than an average round. In good shape well worth the money and you can get it done in four hours. Still a real nice track
Overall great conditions
2nd or 3rd time playing here. Lots of nice open fairways. Greens were a little dry but much better compared to other courses at this time of year. The staff was super friendly and accommodating (even on the phone). Plenty of room to warm up and get dialed in before starting the round. Overall another great experience at Painted Mountain
Don’t waste your time & money
No driving range, No beverage cart. As a single golfer had to skip 3 holes (& 5 foursomes) to an open hole or it would’ve been a 5-6 hour round bc every hole is backed up with “new 125 handicap Covid golfers” than don’t know basic golf courtesy, people driving on Par 3 fairways, NON-handicapped 20-30 yr olds driving carts up the middle of the fairway to the 1st cut of the GREENS….no Ranger in site to regulate any of the kaos.
Was a complete waste of time & money.
