green conditions Photo submitted by u000003377470 on 10/21/2019
Big disappointment
Course is short, no Marshall so extremely slow pace. Only course in Phoenix area we played and were extremely disappointed. Never again!
Greens and fairways are in great shape.
Greens and fairways are the best they have ever been.
Very slow
5 1/2 hours for 18 holes. Sometimes 3 groups of golfers on a tee waiting too tee off. Some tee boxes almost completely dirt. Saw ranger 1 time, he was friendly but did nothing to speed up play. Luckily we had nothing else to do. Not sure I will come back unless there is no other option. Expensive for the level of course with poor maintenance
Loved thev18th Hole
I’m only here in the winter. This is always the first course I play. It is affordable and I really like that and the proshop has a lot of clothes for sale other than just golf clothes.
Where's the grass??
I have never played a course where the tee boxes were "Bare". Many had
sparse grass and several, had no grass. FYI, Phoenix has had the wettest winter in 5 years. Also, the greens were "unputtable". All of the greens contained several types of grass and were not evenly cut. Fairways had large bare patches. Again, Phoenix has had enough rain so that even minimal course maintenence would have left the course in good shape.
Moving in the right direction
I can tell that the new management is going to take this course in the right direction. Staff very friendly and course is in better condition than some time ago. Not a bad outing . I recommend you give it a try.
Awesome Course
We had a great day golfing this course! Would highly recommend it to anyone!!
Great course for money
Really good course for under a hundred bucks pp. Pace of play was good . Course was in good shape. The tee boxes could have been in better shape but that’s my only negative.
