The course is in great shape
The fairways and greens and in very good shape now. The tee boxes are another story. But this isn't something new. Maybe one day they will spend some money and fix the tees. Otherwise it's a nice round of golf for a decent price.
The groups favorite course of the weekend.
The course was fun and the staff were mostly friendly. The t times were a bit close together and we waited every hole to hit but overall the pace of place was spot on to what they said it would be, 4 and 1/2 hours. We played 3 courses during our trip and the group rated this the best one of the weekend.
Average course
Average course, nothing really special. Greens in great shape.
Disappointed
They did not allow my wife to ride along and spectate, even for a fee. We haven’t had this happen at any other public course so it was quite disappointing.
This is my last resort golf course
I've been playing this course for many years. I love just two miles away, so it's very convenient. But it has one of the worst layouts for a golf course that I've ever seen. It's also been extremely neglected for the last twenty plus years and as a result, the surrounding areas (none fairways and greens are just plain sad. That said, the owner, who I once met just by chance while at Starbucks seems to be making an attempt to bring the course back to a more respectable condition. When we talked about the course I didn't yet know he owned it, so I was VERY. candid and probably more than a little too honest about with my feelings. Anyway, while I still play PM if I can't get on anywhere else, it's rarely an enjoyable round. But there does seem to be some small improvements being made. Let's hope that trend continues.
Ridiculous pin placement
I played this course for the second time in my life, and the pin placement today was utterly ridiculous. Most of the holes had the pin placement about 3 feet from the edge, either front or back. Hole number 10 and 14 were the worst. Not sure what the point of it all was, except to punish amateur golfers on a less then average golf course. Will not be back.
Worst pace of play in AZ
5.5 hours….finished 11 holes. They extremely overbook and have no one enforcing pace of place. Waste of money. Don’t play here.
slow pace of play and terrible pin placements
tee time at 1:37 and the last 5 holes were in the dark since the pace was slow. most of the pins were within 6 feet of the edge of green and some were even on the side of a hill and they were very fast
