Great course, but they aren’t fans of GolfNow
Course was great, to include practice facilities, but service was mediocre. We call ahead and asked if we might be able to tee off early if we showed early and were told most likely. When we arrived they said we they could fit us in 30 min early, but when they noticed we were prepaid through GolfNow, they said we would have to wait. Lastly, met the cart girl around 1:30, and she said that was last call.
Overpriced and poor management
Management never said anything or golf now about cart path only. Would have loved a caddy instead.
No ranger to be found and the pace of play was 3 hours per 9. I walked off after 8.
Overpriced and poor communication
Great course
Devils claw was spectacular! We need off a 7am and we're in the clubhouse at 10.15. Fairways, greens and tee boxes all in excellent shape. Great value and the lpga is hosted at Whirlwind this week.
Cheers
Have played here 8 times now, whenever I get down to Mesa, it's a must play.
8 days prior to LPGA Ford Championship
Always like to play a course just prior to the pros. Hospitality suites going up and lots of pre tournament prep activities and fun to predict where the pins, tees and fairway landing areas will be for the Ford!
Course in great condition and greens a little faster than normal but holding approach shots. Cart path only ( was expected just 8 days before the LPGA) so a little harder on this Sr’s knees . A few interruptions with construction of tournament infrastructure but crews were very aware and tolerant of players on the course.
Great Course
Beautiful and well taken care of. Challenging enough to keep you going. We will be back to play!
Nice course
The course was in great condition. Fast greens, beautiful fairways. Slow day though. We waited on every tee box.
Love the course!
Very fair, forgiving course. Pace was good, condition was great, we had a great day.
Nice course
This was a vey nice course to play. Pace of play was well monitored. The only detraction was ground work or some type of new development being work just outside of the course boundaries.
