About Wild Horse Pass
Wild Horse Pass is a 2,700-acre development on the Gila River Indian tribal community grounds with two separate hotels that are a partner of the 36-hole Whirlwind Golf Club, home to the Devil's Claw and Cattail courses as well as a full practice facility. The Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass is a 500-room, AAA Four-Diamond resort that features an Aji Spa with private pool and cafe and a Forbes Five-Star-award restaurant. Activities include four pools, one of which has a 111-foot waterslide, or enjoy the tribal terrain with horseback riding or trail rides. Particularly unique to the Phoenix-Scottsdale Sonoran Desert is Wild Horse Pass's marina with boat rentals on the Gila River. There is a Sheraton Adventure Club for kids with a full slate of guided activities. This course was amazing! Grounds well kept, beautiful views, staff friendly and inviting! Played 18 holes on Catail and a reply on Devils. I can not wait to watch the LPGA on the golf station!

Descent Course
Only a handful of memorable holes, conditions were above average and worth a play if under $100.
Word of advice, if booking as a single it’s a royal pain in the butt. Whirlwind doesn’t book singles, so you need to call GolfNow (40 mins of wasted time) just to get one of their tier 2 people try to call the pro shop and secure a time. This is the worst setup I’ve ever come across. GolfNow should be ashamed and as a single player it sucks cause I’d probably play more often but it’s now worth the hassle.

Great layout and conditions. Slow foresome ahead of us for most of the front nine at least a hole behind. Ranger addressed the problem with the offenders and place of play improved dramatically. Very enjoyable day
