Carlton Oaks has a long history of tournament golf. Curtis Strange won the 1974 NCAA Championships on the course before Perry Dye redesigned the layout and stretched it to 7,400 yards in the 1980s. The Carlton Oaks Lodge, Ascend Hotel Collection, offers 51 modernized, Asian-inspired rooms just steps from the clubhouse, its Oaks Bar & Grill and the outdoor pool and jacuzzi.Facts

Nice Track!
Went off early Friday morning and ended up rolling solo.A foursome that was set to tee off just before me let me tee off ahead of them and that was the kicker. Nice fairways, greens were in terrific shape. finished my round in about 3 hours. Great value for the money. Won't hesitate to tee it up again very soon. Oh and the gals at the 19th hole were very friendly too.

Slow play
Round was 5hrs 25 mins on and Sunday morning. No Marshall . No starter. Also been hassled for playing slow with no one behind me for a hole and a half . Bruce the Marshall is completely lost out there

Over Priced
Way over priced! At these prices these folks will not survive with the competition... Pulled into the parking lot and I could count the cars there with one glance, empty parking lot!!! The pace was awesome! Played by myself and broke a pace record without a doubt! 2 hrs and 45 minutes for 18 holes... And I took my time! Bring your green fees down if you are to survive! $57.00 for a Hot Deal for an early afternoon tee time on a Tuesday it's going to keep players away from this course.

Tin cup
Tin cup driving range, practice putting green was just punched and the course was absolutely drenched. Sprinklers were on and completely flooded most holes
