Greens and fairways were punched.
This is a nice layout with great views but it would have been nice to know that the greens and fairways were punched. I feel the price should have reflected the current conditions but even so, the course itself has lots of dried up grass areas which made for thin lies. Especially around the green. It's now just become a regular course with subpar conditions. I hope it gets better. I still have to recommend you try for your self because it has some great views with some very nice holes.
as always Boulder course was fun and fast ,except for the punched greens! just means I did not three putt, hahaha
Didn't know they had just aerated the greens
I didn't know they had just aerated the greens when I made the reservation. They had put lots of sand on the greens so they weren't bumpy, just slow. The course was in great shape. I teed off at 6:30 am and played 18 holes in 2 1/2 hours. There were only 2 of us on the course during the front 9.
first time playing in a while
haven't played the boulder course in a few yrs, staff was great got out early. the course was in good condition just a nice comfortable round.
Best value in the valley
Greens were good but a bit shaggy. I think they are planning on punching them soon. That is why the 4 stars and not 5. I am going to play there
again in a couple days!
california golf
this course was awesome, gentleman in the pro shop was super helpful, told him this was our first time playinging there, grabbed a bucket and headed to the range, always a good thing to warm up 1st if possible, course was not busy at all, the layout was perfect for us use to big fairways which came in handy a few times, definitely will play this course againthe wife enjoyed it as well and the really nice thing was we stayed right across in the worldmark resort, 2 minute travel time.

Staff is awesome
Too bad the dining room is closed for summer- - they did a nice job in the remodel.
Always the best value 8n the Coachella value.
This course has a wonderful view of the mountains. The course is still in good shape. I played the Boulder course. There are only 2 holes that water comes into play. Both are par 3s and if I remember right, its the same water for both par 3s. If you want to play a full course or an executive course with value for your money this is the place.
Great course for a practice round
If you play the back tees you will use every club in the bag. It has 1 par 4 and 17 par 3’s that range from 100 to 230 yards from the back tees. A great little gem.
Best Value in the Valley
From the Pro Shop staff, the golf course & restaurant, we enjoyed everything about our day at Cimarron. The price was very good & we will definitely will be returning. The only negative were the bunkers. Could be raked & fluffed up. They were hard with a lot of small rocks. All in all, I would recommend the Cimarron Boulder course to any & all levels of golfers 🏌️♂️ 😀
No information at check in
Course was in good shape
At check in would have been nice to know that there was zero water stations on the course and no refreshment cart traveling around...considering it was 95 degrees out
When we asked about it we were told it's not that busy so water stations removed and cart girl goes home early
Even though there was a group of 20 people just ahead of us..
