Cimarron Golf Resort

The course design is a bit dull (straight out and straight back for both 9s) and wraps around a wash area that was pure mud after recent rains. Cary paths through muddy areas were a mess.

Ok course but over priced. Will be playing elsewhere for about same price

I played on Feb. 26/2024 with an early afternoon tee time. Was greeted at the bag drop & was advised to check back 10 mins. Before tee time to get a cart so had to lug clubs to driving range and back to cart area after hitting practise balls. At first tee groups were backed up by 25-30 mins. Pace of play was dreadfully slow, no water containers in the water dispenser stands. Had to guard golf bags on holes near the bridge as there has been cases of theft by homeless people living under the bridge. Also parking lot woefully inadequate for number of players. Have to do better Cimarron. Play Tahquitz Resort instead.

Except for a half an hour back up to original starting time and subsequent inability to finish the round and terrible rest room facilities on course good experience. Perfect greens and lush fairways.

The fairways were like the rough at our home course. Driving the golf cart through washes with water was not fun! Mud splashed on my golf bag. The course was wet. No air blowers to clean your shoes! One stupid brush. They provided me with a wet towel. Went away with grass on the bottom of my shoes. Not good!

Was a snails pace , we were supposed to tee off at 12:40. Didn’t get off until 1:10. 4 and a half hours later we didn’t finish. Terrible day,

Played withe a fore some of different abilities… good course all around. Mud in the wash was nasty on the cart.

Nice lunch before the round but we had to find the server to get our check and make it to the tee.

The wash runs through the entire course and does not add to the ambiance. Greens were very good. Some pretty rough spots but overall the fairways were fine. Noisy as it is close to the airport.

Friendly people. 4.5 hour round. 1:00 tee time, started play at 1:30, barely finished by 6 pm sunset.

Course is mostly parallel holes with little elevation change. Bunkers are hardpan/concrete. Wash through the course was running water making it unwalkable. Lots of Sandhills everywhere. Greens were in good shape at nice speed without being tricked up.
