About Cimarron Golf Resort

Guests of the Cimarron Golf Resort will be comfortable at the Staybridge Suites Cathedral City, an extended-stay hotel that is the perfect alternative to corporate apartments or restrictive vacation rentals. All 197 units include a full-sized fridge, microwave, stovetop and dishwasher. A Raintree Vacation Club with two bedroom condos and the Worldmark Cathedral City hotel are also available onsite. The golf courses, the 6,700-yard Boulder course and the 3,000-yard executive Pebble course, are set to a backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains.

Ok for $$

Kinda of a boring front 9. Seemed like I was playing the same holes on most of the front 9. Back 9 does get better! Can’t complain for $29.

EXCELLENT COURSE

I would recommend CIMARRON to any person; the course has some narrow fairways and greens on hills - golfers that don't hit straight shots the majority of the time would probably consider this course VERY difficult!

Fun course!

Pretty fun course and great value. Pace was tremendous. Large waste bunkers line the sides of fairways on certain holes so you gotta keep it in the fairway. Challenging but fun! Would play again

pretty fair value for the money

It was extremely hot with not many people on the course. a bit of wind on holes 2-6 but when it stoppped it just got hotter. Course in pretty good shape for mid summer.

No flags in hoels 17 and 18,,?

no cart drinks or bev on the course so be prepared witih your own!

Good value, took 2:45 to play full 18.

hole 17 is pretty.

good course to practice hour short game.

Greens were a llittle spoty. Difficult to hoid a lline. Fairways were good, rough was thick and healthy. Overall had a good time. My grandson and I were the first ones off so pace of play was not a problem.

Always a great time

The pro shop staff, starters, cart girls and restaurant staff are among the friendliest and courteous at any course I have ever played. For the amount of play the Cimarron gets, nobody seems to ever get frazzled or short with people. It is a great course and one that anybody who visits the Palm Springs area should play.

Good value

All the greens are spotty and did not roll true. Maybe that’s normal summer time desert conditions. Lot of bumpy putts. Pace of play was not great as the 4some in front seems to be playing a 2 man scramble. We waited on just about every shot on the back 9. Would have been nice if they let us played thru considering we were waiting on them every shot. Course Marshal was great even brought the water jug to us to fill up. The rental Callaway Mavericks were in decent shape.
