Guests of the Cimarron Golf Resort will be comfortable at the Staybridge Suites Cathedral City, an extended-stay hotel that is the perfect alternative to corporate apartments or restrictive vacation rentals. All 197 units include a full-sized fridge, microwave, stovetop and dishwasher. A Raintree Vacation Club with two bedroom condos and the Worldmark Cathedral City hotel are also available onsite. The golf courses, the 6,700-yard Boulder course and the 3,000-yard executive Pebble course, are set to a backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains.Facts

Friendly staff, excellent course for beginners, good pace, good layout and condition. We’ll be back!
Excellent course
I usually come out annually and play here. One of the best value courses. I like the fairways and green conditions. Completed round in less than 3 hrs. Great course to play everytime!

Good course
Overall good experience. The course was in good condition for the weather. Greens were baked out and slow but still okay. Staff was friendly. Will come back when in the area.

The staff was extremely nice and the amenities of the golf course were top notch. I highly recommend this course for its price and course layout.

Hot deal is good(ish)
Got this course for a hot deal, and that would've been the "normal " appropriate price for a standard fee. It's in decent shape, the range is just ok, cart ran slow but consistent and the clubhouse guy did his job. The sandtraps were dog feces, and fricking terrible. It's it should be a $25-30 round with the cart but they trying to squeeze an extra buck or two.

No marshals on course. One hole had 7 players and 4 carts. Unacceptable and really slows play. Another hole had 3 young men batting the ball everywhere. Slow play. Frustrating at best that day.

Great Executive Course
When you think executive, you think of a collection of 120 yard par 3's flat with very few hazards. Not this course. Here, you can pick a set of tees to use every club in your bag. I play the back tees and get holes ranging from 101 to 228 yards with 1 315 yard par 4 thrown in. Lots of undulation and hazards to make this a challenge to play. I highly recommend this course.

Good place to play golf
Cimarron Boulder course is a good choice if you can get a good price via a hot deal. Their Pebble course is fun too if you want to practice your short game.

Nice Executive Course
This is a par 3 and 4 course. If you play with a female partner it becomes a game of skill and not strength.

Great place to fine tune the short game. Also great for a 1st time golfer or someone who isn't quite ready for a full length course.

Cimarron Hot Deals
Cimarron is a decent course and is one of the few that offer hot deals at a reasonable price. We will be playing here a lot.
