Guests of the Cimarron Golf Resort will be comfortable at the Staybridge Suites Cathedral City, an extended-stay hotel that is the perfect alternative to corporate apartments or restrictive vacation rentals. All 197 units include a full-sized fridge, microwave, stovetop and dishwasher. A Raintree Vacation Club with two bedroom condos and the Worldmark Cathedral City hotel are also available onsite. Just of the plane
My wife had played here before snd liked the course so I thought I would give it a try. Staff very friendly, clubhouse nicely equipped ( carts have gps ). Teed off on time ( it was a Sunday) . Pace of play was slow 5 hours for the round we waited at every hole . Fairways are green and well maintained same for green. ( pretty fast ) .
Will play here again but maybe not on a weekend.

Dessert Oasis
Spent what turned out to the be the perfect spring afternoon on the course. The grass was pristine on every hole. It was a very busy and the pace of play wasn't too bad considered a full course. My only two pieces of constructive criticism: the sand was pretty hard and compacted and I would have liked more frequent visits by the beverage cart.

Best course to get a last minute tee time
Green grass, fast greens, fun/relaxed layout. Great for beginners and seasoned players alike. Accommodating staff, good facilities. Can be a little too busy before noon, they like to stack ‘em 7-8 minutes apart. But, if you’re willing to play in the afternoon, it can be an extremely relaxing pace. Always have fun at Cimarron.

A group of 8 was allowed to play together 4 and a half hours later we had played 14 holes when it became too dark to continue. No one hurried them along. Painfully slow

Fun for the whole family
Went with a total of 6, started as 3 & 3 but of course all ended up playing together. No problem as we didn’t slow the play behind us. The course is very nice, well maintained and the staff is really friendly. Looking forward to playing there again.

We liked the course. not too difficult. It was windy and slow, but we were paired with a nice couple and we enjoyed playing with them.

course was in great condtion, staff were great, weather became an issue as a big sand storm blew into the valley so we had to bail after 14 holes

Average course, very overpriced
Decent condition, the greens rolled fairly well and the whole place is green. Nowhere near as nice as nearby courses that cost the same. Zero water on the course and two porta potties is absurd when you’re paying $120 for a round of golf.

Nice course
Very nice staff and layout. Forgiving yet if you took the bait it but you. ( there was some washout from recent storms but still very playable) . The round was slow waiting at almost every hole . But was accepted as it was a Sunday.

Ugghh on the management
Really disappointed. We get to the course only to find out the course was backed up 1 hour. They blamed it on a tournament, that pushed back tee times 1 hour. People coming off Boulder course complained the round well over 5 hours. Therefore, we ended up playing the short Pebble Course instead. Course in good condition but even that course had wait on every hole. Took way too long. It seems they simply do not manage their play effectively.

Slow play for the money
A tournament was booked for Saturday morning, pushing our tee time back by 40 minutes sccorfing to the starter. Opted for lunch during the wait. Average service, but good food in a timely manner.
On the first tee we met our partners, one of which had never played golf. Really. Crazy round that was very slow, not from our amateur friend but groups ahead.
Overall the course was a nice shape, good layout, but they can’t seem to manage the pace of play.
