Guests of the Cimarron Golf Resort will be comfortable at the Staybridge Suites Cathedral City, an extended-stay hotel that is the perfect alternative to corporate apartments or restrictive vacation rentals. All 197 units include a full-sized fridge, microwave, stovetop and dishwasher. A Raintree Vacation Club with two bedroom condos and the Worldmark Cathedral City hotel are also available onsite. Par 3
Course conditions were good for the time of year. Course overbooks so we had to stand around waiting for someone else to finish to get a cart. The cart died after 4 holes because it hadn’t been charged.

Great course, sloooow play.
We teed off 20 minutes late because the first tee was so backed up. Then waited on every shot throughout the rest of the afternoon. Fun course, well kept too! It just was so slow and no marshalls around to keep things going.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Slooooowwwww
Staff:
The pro shop staff were extremely unfriendly and h helpful. When asked where the range was I was told to “go outside and I’ll see it”. I didn’t. It was my first time there and the range is not near the Pro shop.
The starter was extremely rude. We were putting right next to our tee 5 minutes before our tee time when he began yelling our names. We walked over to him and he said we are supposed to be in our carts and ready to off 5 minutes before hand. Mind you, the group ahead of us were all taking 2-3 off the tee and we’re still on the tee box.
The grounds crew doesn’t care if you’re putting, approaching. or driving. The worst one was on hold 5 where the man mowing the grass literally mowed the fringe of the green we were putting on blowing grass right into us, causing us both to have an allergy attack.
Pace of play:
Plan for a 5-6 hour round. There’s no marshall to keep people moving and they well over-sell their tee times. I knew it was busy, but when we finally finished our seemingly never ending round there was no less than 50 people waiting on a cart so they could play.
Conditions:
The course looks phenomenal. Very green. Nice fairways and nice greens. Greens are slow, but not soft. Bunkers are not sand. It’s essentially just gravel with large rocks all throughout it and the lips are either dead or dying.
Amenities:
The range was like hitting off of the second cut and the balls were horribly overused. No bathrooms on the course - just port-o-potty’s. Yep. In the desert. And they absolutely smell as bad you imagine.
All in all, I paid $140 to play here and was highly dissatisfied the course is worth about $40. I played the far superior Escena Golf Club the day before for the same price.
Save your money and time. Find a better course.

Much Too Windy
With winds blowing at 30 mph, it was had to gauge distances. As a result of rain the day before, washes were too often muddy. They really need to rake the washes. Did not enjoy the round.

Slow
It seems like the people that play there have no shame with regard to slow play. It’s not uncommon to see a five some or a six some out there. The wind was bad that day, but that’s no one’s fault. The course layout and condition were excellent, staff was cool and I’ve never use the restaurant or facilities, but they seem proper. You see the refreshment cart on the course, but never a Marshall urging things along.

Great par 3 course
Lucky to play quick 9 hole without anyone backing up:,Fun par 3 course. Can be windy but definitely recommend. Staff were great and friendly.

The course only had 9 holes. We were told that after we played the front 9 that we wold have to wait till 2 to go around again to play the front nine again. We did not play.

Didn't play Pebbles, it was recovering from the rain. Boulders is a nice Course, easy flow, great views...
