Don’t play here on windy days
I’ve played here for years. I like the course and the challenges presented if you don’t hit in the middle. However the course is exposed, no shade, and built around a wash. When the wind picks up, like it does most days here, you need sunglasses to protect your eyes from sand. I’ll play it again when their pricing drops and no wind in the forecast.
Boulder Course - Not da Best
Played for the first time and I was really looking forward to it. The fairways were cut way to high so don’t expect any roll out. condition of the fairways, Course was pretty boring with really no signature hole.. Most scenic hole was 17, a very nice par 3. Pace of play was OK and carts had GPS. Would I go back, no, but I played because was able to snag a great rate and if I hadn’t, there’s no chance I’d play it again. Much better options would be Tahquitz Creek Resort Course or Indian Canyons South.
Great Morning
Had a great round this morning with my friend. Course is in very good condition and the greens were close to peak. We played in about three hours. And then had a great lunch in the restaurant.
Highly recommend
Go for it.
Had a great time playing here. The course is a very nice shape. My only complaint was that signage was not very good in areas. So beware of that because he won't know where your teeing off.. our experience at that time is that we only had one beverage person on hand. So pack your own drinks. Definitely worth going here and checking it out. Nice scenery beware of the snakes.
Nice Par 3
Course in good shape, greens very nice. Fairways cut long so anything short of the green gets killed.A little difficult navigating the holes from green to tee for first timers. A few more arrows or other directions signs would be welcome for first timers. Putting surfaces in very nice condition
Great course
The layout was challenging but fair. Greens and fairways were in the excellent condition.
Cimarron/Pebble
My view might be slightly jaded, we played mid afternoon and the wind was howling. There were no redeeming features and it just wasn’t memorable. Don’t look at the photos to make your choice, you won’t see any of that. If you are looking for a par three which is what I do with my wife then you should try Shadow Hills North Course. Way more esthetically pleasing and slightly cheaper.
Beware the Cart Jockey's
Very hot, windy and dusty this day, but that kept people away so the pace was very good. After round parked my cart and started to head to my car when a Cart Jockey stopped and yelled at me asking if that was my cart parked in what was clearly a parking area for golf carts. I acknowledged that i had used that cart. He then proceeded to yell at me and tell me i was required to deliver the cart all the way down at the cart garage or I would be banned from playing there again. Huh? Told him cart was fine where it was and i was not going to move it, that is your job.
(And then they expect you to tip them for a unsolicited wiping down of your clubs. )
I will probably not be returning to that course. However, the young gentlemen that checked me in that day offered stellar customer service during our interaction.
Windy and slow play
Pebble needs a Marshall to address slow play. In one round, there was a slow foursome in front of us. They even stopped on the 17th green to take selfies while we were waiting to tee off. In another round, green play by the foursome in front of us was brutally slow which backed up three groups behind them, and they took videos of each other putting on the 14th green. No respect for others behind them. When it is windy, there is so much sand flying around you, it is really difficult to play. Fairways are cut too long, making wood and iron shots difficult. This course is off my list of par 3's.
Good value very open course
Very forgiving course with 4 sets of tees so u can make easy holes harder and visa versa. Nice practic me area and gorgeous views of mt san jacinto.
