Conditions
First hole was ridiculous conditions
. No driving range
No yardage markers
They didn't actually have the T-Time
The course overbooked and attempted to blame GolfNow. The manager claimed that she'd called me but I had never received a VM, text or email. The starter ultimately let us play at a later T-Time. We were then stopped on the 4th hole by the manager demanding that we follow her to the clubhouse claiming that I hadn't provided payment although I had provided my card on both golfnow and in the pro-shop. I provided my card to them again for payment, completed our round and that will be my last experience with Cathedral Canyon. Play elsewhere
Starters are wonderful people.
My wife and I play here once a year to see if course conditions improve. Sadly they have not. I will say the greens are excellent, but the rest of the course is not kept up at all. It's too bad because the homes in Cathedral Canyon are very nice and it's a shame to have the course in such despair. We'll probably go back again next year to check it out. If nothing else we'll say HI to Assa.
Course conditions
The course is a mud hole on the front nine. Overall it is in rough shape. The greens were over sanded. The fairways are ok, not nice. 75 yards from the greens is mostly dirt or tight packed short grass making clean solid contact with short wedges difficult. The finishing hole par 5 was a good hole. I am a 10 handicap and won't play there again.
Terrible course conditions
Needs water to turn brown grass green - what a concept!
Price
Got on for 35$. But tee time was early 7:30. The course is still suffering from flooding. Hole #10 had forward tees. The fairways are need of some care. But the greens were excellent. I don’t mind all the water seem like it was on every hole. I would play this course regularly regardless of the poor fairways
This course is a mess! No driving range. Water leaks in the irrigation system. Hard to find your ball because of varying grass and weed colors!
Not worth the money given the clubhouse said the course was in great condition, in fact very poor!

Course condition
The greens were in decent shape but the rest of the course was in terrible shape. I would not recommend this course.
Great layout
We've golfed at Cathedral Canyon many times over the years because of the great layout! The greens nice and green and true.
Unfortunately, due to the hurricane in August and then heavy rain one night this month, the course isn't in great shape. The fairways are thin, but I'm sure they will improve.
The 1st hole, although playing as a par 5 still has quite a bit of damage. The 10th hole has been changed from a par 5 to a par 3. Unfortunately, there aren't any markers on this hole that states the distance from tee to green.
We golfed as a twosome and had a enjoyable time.
The reduced price compared to other resort courses reflects its condition. Great course to warmup your golf game or if your novice golfer.
Fun course
This course is old but layout is fun and challenging enough for anybody , Green are well kept , which is most important to me , They are nice and play true . Fairways are so ,so but as with any old course if you hit the fairway it’s always fair to move your ball to a nice patch.
Price fits course conditions and it’s well worth a play for sure. Staff is really nice. And food and beer very reasonable..
For a Challenge to your Game
It is a very challenging course for the beginner or intermediate golfer. For golfers who are up for a challenge, ok with water hazards, and prefer to use a cart rather than walk, this course is for you. The greens were fast and in good shape. It looks like the course is slowly coming back after the floods, so maybe in a couple of years, this could be the ideal course to try your skills.
