Course conditions were above par
Staff were friendly and helpful, they informed us of the issues with number 1 and 10 because of the storm. The rest of the course was in great condition and the greens rolled true. We would definitely come back because of the knowledgeable staff and the great layout.
The course was in decent shape. The greens were in better shape than the fairways, which made it enjoyable to putt . Fairways not so much. Lots of bare , sandy patches. Needed to move ball in fairways at times to give you a decent lie for a shot that should be rewarded for being in the fairway. Bunkers were inconsistent, with some with plenty of sand, and others pretty bare. Not all bunkers had rakes, which made it impossible to leave a clean trap for the next guy. Pace of play was OK , but only saw Marshall once for entire round. Staff friendly and helpful, but little done to keep pace moving. Overall good value, mainly because the greens were quite good. The rest of the conditions were just average.Still would recommend to play for the money.
Pleasantly surprised
Look for the money in the desert the course is excellent. Sure a few wet areas and a washed out hole but they can’t control that. The greens are fantastic. The staff is super friendly. Overall great experience
Great value for a Palm Springs area golf course.
The course is in good shape. Hole 10 has been shortened due to recent washout of the fairway in the drainage channel area. It is a great value for a Palm Springs area golf course.
Very fun course though no driving range
Had read that the course suffered some damage due to a storm, but we had a terrific round. Not a long course but some truly beautiful holes and greens were solid for the value. Loved how the cart path wound through the neighborhood too - fun to ride! Twilight after noon was a bargain and will definitely return!
Course is steadily improving
Hadn't played the course since last year. They had damage to holes #1 & 10, 10 being changed to a par 3. They were out removing and trimming several trees, which will make it more player friendly. The greens were in. good shape and run true. The fairways were good and you could see on several holes have makings to improve irrigation. Worth trying if you haven't been there recently, but still has lots of room for improvement.
WORSE COURSE EVER
This was my first and last time on this God-awful course. Started bad by having to deal with an inept worker who didn’t have a clue as to what was going on. I asked him for a course overview because it was my first time and he had to ask someone what it was.
The course itself was another example of how bad it was. We spent about 15 minutes trying to figure out where the next hole was because the hole markers on many of the holes were not there or visible. The worst hole was 10, which I believe was a par 4 or 5 and it was across the wash but we couldn’t find it because there were no tee markers on the hole and no one at the desk told us about this.
It was the worst outing I ever had on a golf course.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND PLAYING HERE IT IS AWFUL
Very old and poorly maintained
I’ll start off with; the greens were acceptable.
Other than the greens, it’s very ugly, poorly kept, very old, cart paths were horrible, signage was horrible, only one bathroom ( hole number 4).. Do not pay more than $50 for this place. The fairways are horrible. The T boxes are poorly kept. Spend your money elsewhere.
Okay if nothing better available
I have never played there before so we had no familiarly with the course. Would it really be that difficult to put a 150 stake in the fairway so we had a clue how far the green was. Lots of water hazards so not knowing the distance is a bit of a problem. There are a lot of nice holes so I suppose I would go back in a year when the repairs are done
Hurricane in August wiped out much of this course, including the driving range. Two par 5’s now par 3’s.
Not a good value or course right now (Dec, 2023). Probably above average prior
Bitter Sweet
The course had a couple holes damaged from the past hurricane. That were shortened to par threes from par fives. Otherwise the course was very enjoyable to play.
Ok for the money
Course is not in very good shape. It was Ok to take beginner golfers out on.
