Basically, you get what you pay for.
Inexpensive round by dessert standards. Greens, for the most part are ok. Not much work being done by the grounds crew.
If you are a superintendent looking for work…apply here.
Get what you pay for
1st round of the year so looking for something not extremely difficult. Course was not in great shape fairways were sparse with lots of bare spots (play winter rules given these conditions)Tee boxes also sparse. Greens were fast and in decent shape cut quite short. The course needs TLC and a bit of money spent to dress it up. Among the least expensive courses in the Valley so if you want something nicer expect to pay more possibly a lot more. The courses in Palm Springs are challenged to use a lot less water so some patience & understanding is required of these courses.
Bad reviews..
I had a perfectly nice round. You get what you pay for. CV golf is expensive this time of year. Greens are firm, but roll true. Adapt. The bad reviews are unfair.
Bad shape
I have played this course since 1998 and never seen it such poor condition
The Fairways are cluttered with debree
The greens are in poor condition and like putting on concrete
You certainly need to put some TLC into this course

Searching for value
We paid $131.98 for 2 golfers w/cart - "tee off.com" deal. We teed off at 10:20 with another 2-some; finished at 2:30. Greens were a challenge due to firmness and somewhat consistent in the roll. Fairways and rough were "rough". Course layout with water, bunkers, and washes are a challenge. For our "winter golf game" - "rusty golf", it was a good value for us.
Use to be a good course
I’m very sad that one of my favourite course's is in very bad shape No one is looking after it! What happened?
Serious needs some TLC!!! it has so much potential. Upper management it is time to get it together!
Show that you truly care about the golf course first!
Your staff are wonderful and it’s very hard on them to do this to them. It truly not fair to leave them to deal with the public! Time to step up!
Show that you truly no how to manager a golf course the right way!
BRUTAL CONDITIONS
Course has gone downhill this year. The starters are excellent and a joy to converse with. The layout of the course is great. The pro shop staff could use some customer service training. The course is full of weeds, debris (dead branches) everywhere, greens non existent on several holes, a boarded up bathroom between the 15th and 16th hole is an eyesore, major watering required, and the bathroom on the 4th hole needs major cleaning. How could they let this course deteriorate like this! Who is responsible? JC Golf, GM of the course, manager of the golf course or all of them. When you read the description of the course on Golf Now and you see the course, there is very little correlation. Please get staff who know how to run a golf course. This course could be so beautiful if it was looked after and run property.
Terrible
I would rate the course a zero, but that wasn’t an option.
The only good part of the course was the starter. Very friendly. Spoke to us for 10 minutes while we awaited our t-time. He gets 5 stars b

Overall a nice course, front nine is a bit rough, back nine is better, great views and with a little attention could be stunning
