Course conditions
The greens putted like you were on shag carpeting. Fairways were mixed with clover. Sand traps had little to no sand.
surprisingli good
Have read some ugly reviews about the course. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is a muni course amongst some of the most beautiful courses anywhere. But it was a good value. greens were good. Some work definitely needed, but very playable for my (lower) skill level. Def will play again.on a return trip. h
Course review
The golf course is very run down. The greens feel like they hadn’t been cut in 3 days. You felt like you were putting on shag carpeting. The sand traps had virtually no sand.
Nice track. Poor conditions and glacially slow greens. The sand bunkers were hard and unplayable.
Play this course only if you are desperate and/or impaired.
Nice course
Nice course in well maintained shape. Some holes are a bit narrow with homes on either side, so take out your irons! The Lakes and Mountains courses are both challenging and beautiful. We will golf this course again.
Worth playing
I play here regularly. The course conditions continue to improve, except this time most of the bunkers were unplayable. They were either hard packed or had standing water. Wish other players would fill divots and fix ballparks on the greens. I fix 3-4 on every green.
I really like this course.
I’ve played here multiple times in the last few years, and never seen it in such nice shape! Its clear, that the keepers, and members are working hard to keep this a club beautiful! To help i did my part in using two full cans of seed to repair divots, and blemishes throughout. Hopefully others do the same. Yesterday’s round was a tad frustrating, as we had a group of drunks infront of us, whose cart ran out of gas/charge. As a result we didn’t finish our round.
Nice course layout with some very scenic holes.
The good:
Nice layout with some very scenic holes
Staff is friendly and informative
Not to bad of pricing
Plays up to about 6300 yards
The bad:
Bunkers are muddy or concrete like
Some fairways are rough
No ball washers on many holes
10th hole is under repair so instead of a par 5 it is now a par 3
I did enjoy playing and we did it again, beware of all the water protecting the fairways and greens, very scenic holes.
Great value
For golf in the desert in February the course was in good condition. Greens were slow because they weren’t rolled, but most were in really good condition. Narrow fairways made it challenging for some weekenders.
Will be back!
Very good for the money spent
We really enjoyed the course. It was challenging and fun. After reading previous reviews we were pleasantly impressed. The layout was great and some of the ponds took a few of our balls. Our only complaint would be signage could have been a little better for those who haven’t played the course before.
