cathedal canyon
great value for your $$ with the increased golf prices on most courses in Palm Springs area.
Great course for the price
It was our first time golfing the course. For the pridce we paid, we thought it was great value. The course is not in amazing shape like other courses, but if you just want to get out and have an enjoyable round of golf for a great price, I would recommend this course. We will be back.
Good layout & friendly staff
The pro shop and course staff were extremely welcoming and friendly., There was a mixup with our booking so they patiently figured it out (including calling Golf Now). The course marshall made us feel valued and welcome - he was extremely enthusiastic. The layout was lots of fun and challenging on several holes with the water hazards. We all thoroughly enjoyed the course and will definitely return.
Course continues to improve
Play here frequently. Course continuing to get better. Finally did work in bunkers to loosen up the sand. Greens still a little slow and bumpy. Wish people would fix ball marks on the greens. For the money it's worth playing.
first time visit
be sure to bring your straight game...condo's line the course and any 'mishits' will be gone..
still in the process of rebuilding after floods especially on 10 which was a par 5 now a par 3 due to flooding damage...not bad for the price...
Course getting better
Course is continuing to improve. Bunkers need a lot of work, virtually no sand, play as ground under repair. Greens need to be mowed and rolled. Fairways getting better. Worth playing for the price.
so so
Great value for the money. My only complaint would be the greens were very slow and had not been cut.
Course continues to improve
Course conditions are getting better on everything except the bunkers. Bunkers get to much water and are packed down firm. Greens still slow and bumpy, Greens need to be cut and rolled. People still failing to fix ball marks.
Getting better
They are definitely working on the course, but it's not quite there yet. The grass on the fairways are quite long and the greens are fuzzy. But for our caliber of golf it's okay.
The restaurant appears to be closed...shame.
The staff was very friendly!
Not great!!
Friendly staff and not very busy, so good pace of play! The fairway & greens conditions were generally poor. We played several other courses in the area this trip, with all others in better condition and even a bit less expensive. We were not informed that they had a small selection of drinks for purchase in the pro shop, no drink cart & the restaurant was closed. I would suggest you find another course to play!
