On course washroom was disgusting, I did not want to touch anything
Terrible shape! I've putted on temporary greens that were in better shape. The management should be ashamed to have people play on it.
Never again at any price
Booked online as a special rate. No mention of awful course condition. Greens fairways bunkers fairways were all terrible. Poor maintenance lack of watering caused large bare spots. Back nine was closed so we played the front 9 twice twin terror. Not all of our group chose to finish. Hard to find gps led us to back entrance which was not open. Driving range was a goat ranch barren with no grass. Interior was clean Bu t no open. We were told when we arrived that course was under repair but too late toochange. Bad day…
Opened far too early-horrid conditions
The condition of the entire course was abysmal with fairways not properly groomed and greens that were heavily sanded and so bumpy the ball rolled like a rabbit was hopping.Obviously, there is inadequate maintenance of the playing facilities which is a shame and an insult to returning customers.
Conditions must improve if the public will be confident in returning to play this course in the future!
Course not ready to play
It was cartpath only, but the rough was awful,,so should of been allowed to drive in it.. very little grass on the fairways, some places it was just dirt..all of the greens had lots of sand on them,a nd they were very bumpy. You just had to say take 2 putts and pick up.
I shot a good score in spite of the lousy conditions as i didn't t go into any of the many ponds.on the course.
Wait a few weeks before playing this course.
Terrible greens and fairways
The day I played I was told only the front 9 holes were open as the back 9 were unplayable. Wrong! The entire course was in poor condition thus unplayable. The course is overrun by ants, gnats and other insects.
The course was in extremely poor shape, I have putted on temporary greens that were in better condition. They should be ashamed.
Staff Great - Not the Course
Greens were the only maintained part of this course. No grass anywhere else! Bunkers were concrete mixed with crab grass. Staff members were amazing! Cart was in good condition, but nothing else was. I seriously would not have booked this course if I knew that there was no grass and that fire ants ruled the place. I had to hit my ball within 10 seconds or less in order to not get bit for the 20th time. Honestly, I know that the course is getting redone soon, and the management should close the course now to diminish their name any more. Sorry for the brash review, but it was in that bad of shape. Good luck on the remodels… I hope that the budget is set accordingly.
Shamful
This course is allededly owned by Marriott/Hyatt Vacation Club...can't believe any brand manager would allow their company name on a course so poorly watered and maintained. Oh, maybe that is why even the homeowners around the property don't believe anyone ownes it. Sell it to anyone who will care for it.
Terrible
Absolute waste of money! Water in bunkers along with weeds! Fairways were terrible. Rough was thick but I have no problem with that.
Perfect Summer Greens
Impressed by the greens being excellent to putt! Rough is long, hairy and nasty. Stay on the fairway!
Hard to find and not in great shape
First round of golf in palm springs and wasn't a great experience. To start the clubhouse was a bit tricky to find even with Google maps. Course was not well maintained with rough fairways, very rough rough. Would be a nice track if it was in better condition. Better places to play for the money.
Grounds Need Work
The fairways and greens are not in great condition.
After my round of golf, upon returning some found property in parking lot, I walked into the clubhouse and was hit with the stink of overflowing toilets or sewage. About made me sick. Although I didn’t notice it that morning, it was extremely pungent at noon…. Near the restaurant.
Same as everywhere else
Finding the course was a challenge, poor signage. Course is not bad, just the same. Fairways were sparse of grass, rough was thick and lush which appeared more of their focus. Course runs through an older neighborhood with many residents who seemed bothered that we were on “their” course. With the number of places to play, I think we’ll choose one of those and let the residents have their course to themselves.
Course conditions are not good. Perhaps it is only due to end of the season factors.
