DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Golf Resort Palm Springs

Greens were great! Fairways had too many bare spots. However, when in shape it has been a great course the few times I played it. When playing the Cielo course and getting off the first green you expect hole #2 to be straight ahead. Who would expect that you go all the way to the wash to play 1 hole.. After figuring out that is wrong you start looking for signs that tell you where to go. There is 1 sign that says follow the arrows and it's pointed in the wrong direction so golfers from 1 don't even notice it. The sign needs to be facing the people coming off 1 and it needs to say "FOLLOW THE ARROWS ON THE STREET WITH A LEFT ARROW. This is not something that should have to be explained. We held up the group behind us for 15 minutes because of it.

Certainly you need to keep a close eye out for the signage to get around the course.. its right in the middle if a housing development so for me it lacked character.

Greens were true faiways were poor. Course was quite forgetable . Overpriced when compared to other in the area.

Course was dry and some fairways were really thin but didn’t negatively affect play. Greens were in good shape and rolled true. Fun course and will be back again.

I played the Lagos and Cielo combo out of the 27 holes. The staff were accommodating and extremely nice. The course was of older design with open flat fairways, bunkers throughout and a lot of water hazards. The holes themselves were redundant and hard to remember but offered a challenge due to many trees, bunkers and water hazards. The greens, fairways and bunkers were well kept. The course winds through housing and there is a lot of driving in the streets and most fairways have homes on the left and right which takes away from the ambiance of the course.

Desert princess is a beautiful course that’s well maintained and has outstanding staff. Great rates in the summer months but it’s going to be very hot out if you know the geographical region. If you’re coming from out of town and want to stay and play the Doubletree by Hilton on property is fantastic as well.

Very fair and fast greens. Nice layout. Would love to come back and play the third 9 that they have. Full and nice pro shop options for clothes and collectibles. Very large and comfortable lunch area for after

Beautiful course! Well maintained and a pretty mellow but fun layout. But if you’re playing on a weekend be prepared to wait! Majorly majorly backed up on every single hole. I would be on the tee box then another group in the fairway waiting for the green to clear. 5 hour round minimum. Play early guys. My tee time was 9am and was just too late

Very nice course, the layout and conditions are great. This is a very well-maintained course which we enjoyed playing.

Be prepared. This course can be quite windy, but is great to play.
