About Indian Wells Golf Resort
The 36-hole Indian Wells Golf Resort offers a foursome of resort hotels all within walking distance of the 53,000-square-foot clubhouse: The Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa; Indian Wells Resort Hotel; the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa; and the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa. Each delivers what you would expect from the Coachella Valley: Nice rooms, multiple restaurants, a spa, pool and more amenities. The Tommy Bahama Miramonte is the first resort of its kind for the iconic fashion brand and was completely renovated before its reveal in fall 2023. As for the golf, Clive Clark's Celebrity course served as the site of the LG Skins Game in 2007-08. John Fought's Player course counters with dynamic bunkering. Great condition
Fairways were in great shape after the overseeding greens were on the slow side which we were warned about
Pace of play was excellent finished in 3.5 hours will be back next trip to Palm Springs
Recent Celebrity Play
Beautiful course. Very friendly staff. Great driving range. Great course conditions. Very slow pace of play was only negative. Very bad actually. Nice experience otherwise but definitely overpriced.
Memorable
First time playing the course and it lived up to the hype. Super pretty and lush. Pay attention to the GPS as there is water on the back in places you cannot see with the naked eye. I see why people come back and play this course over and over again.
Management Failure
Pace of play was unacceptable given cart technology and apparent marshal on site. Most concerning was the response from staff when I asked to speak with management, from two different employees “ they’re never around, sorry..” unfortunately I left with a negative opinion of course and staff. Hopefully this isn’t the standard you’re shooting for!
Indian Wells Players course
Good challenge and friendly staff. Recommend… but play off the right tee box for your handicap.
Nice challenging course
Very nice course, Excellent staff great on course follow up for hydration. Greens super hard and fast. Fairways in great condition. Well worth the expense based on the service alone. Will play again when back out to the resort.
Good shape
Good shape for this time of year. Greens are still recovering from being punched and a bit of taller grass outside of the ruff, otherwise great shape
Awesome golf!
Overall I really enjoyed this course. Such a beautiful course and great layout. Course was in great condition for mid summer. I played PGA West Nicklaus tournament course the day before and there was dead, cut grass everywhere in the rough making it hard to find a ball. One thing I didn’t like was that there was only 1 par 3 and par 5 per side. Would definitely recommend to a friend and play here again.
Greens are eaten up
Course, staff & layout was outstanding.. EXCEPT every green was in bad shape as too many rough or bare spots to putt over. Only reason wasn't a 5 star review
