About Indian Wells Golf Resort
The 36-hole Indian Wells Golf Resort offers a foursome of resort hotels all within walking distance of the 53,000-square-foot clubhouse: The Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa; Indian Wells Resort Hotel; the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa; and the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa. Each delivers what you would expect from the Coachella Valley: Nice rooms, multiple restaurants, a spa, pool and more amenities. The Tommy Bahama Miramonte is the first resort of its kind for the iconic fashion brand and was completely renovated before its reveal in fall 2023. As for the golf, Clive Clark's Celebrity course served as the site of the LG Skins Game in 2007-08. John Fought's Player course counters with dynamic bunkering. Shots in the Night keeps the fun going after dark with the laser-fueled Putting Experience powered by Nextlinks and the Glow Golf Range.Facts

Hole #12 I believe. Photo submitted by Trailerteri on 04/03/2013
Fun course
In good condition for June. A little pricier than others in the area.
Great staff and course
Awesome staff . Very good condition considering early June . Apparently Celebrity course has several greens in very bad shape . Players greens in good condition in general. Only bad experience is we never saw a refreshment cart the entire day . At 106 degrees a beer or 2 would have been nice .
Great playable round
Indian Wells golf resort is a great place and it has two tremendous very playable golf courses perfect for the resort golfer and can be a challenge from the back tees . Great staff good price really enjoyable day
Pete Dye at his worst
The good: the staff were friendly and the course conditions were fine.
The bad: Everything else. Pace of play was horrific. We had a 5.5 hour round.
I would highly recommend PGA West actually disassociate themselves from the Pete Dye name as soon as possible. Seriously, start by bringing in a bulldozer and getting rid of all his false front greens and “sand rivers” that make no sense whatsoever and are completely punitive. This isn’t a fun and challenging course where shot selection and risk/reward comes into play, this is a self-inflated ego that enjoys punishing you for putting your shot on the green by making sure there everything is guaranteed to roll off no matter how well you hit it.
Skip this course and find a better way to waste your time with less frustration.
Playable and challenging
I played the players course at Indian Wells golf resort, It’s the first time I’ve played it since the remodel. It’s really great. You can find your ball. Hit it at the target but still be challenged with Fast greens and elevation changes.
Don’t miss it. It’s a lot of fun.
Pleasantly pleased
I always look forward to Memorial Day Golf ⛳️. This was my second favorite course behind Desert Willow. JW Marriot was disappointing! The Celebrity Course was in excellent condition but the greens were dried and ugly. Food was good. Would definitely recommend to my friends.
Course is in rough shape
I think this course would be really fun under different circumstances. We played in late May and the greens were horrible.
Course not really fun holes and beautiful scenery. Not super challenging, but very fun.
Solid Upscale Course
Played here very recently and the course is very nice. My favorite part was the amenities and facilities around the course. Great practice area with multiple undulating practice putting greens. Big chipping area and a nice range. Plenty of food and beverage options. My only minor complaints were that the greens had some bare patches and there is terrible dust in the area of Palm Springs right now (not the courses fault obviously). Aside from that, this is a good course I enjoyed playing.
Great conditions, decent value
Played as 4some at 1210p on a Monday. The Players course was booked out for a tournament so Celebrity seemed quite packed. Waited behind a foursome all day, but still played in 4:30. Course was in fantastic condition. Cost was $170 pp, booked 4 weeks out.
Great as always!
Played at 1230p as a 4some on a Sunday, finished in 4:05. Waited for a twosome for most of the round but by the end of the round, we caught the field. Awesome pro shop and great service. Fantastic fast greens.
Superb
Great course, tough with the amount of sand placed in all the right spots to capture errant shots. Superb condition, tee box thru the green. The starter at players course was very helpful for first time players. Looking forward to coming back.
