Glorious day, wonderful greens
A friend of mine from New York and I played. It was the first time I've played Del Monte in 25 years. It's a much better condition now than it was then.
Good, but not great
The course was in good condition. However, the rates here should be quite a bit lower than courses like Poppy Hills, Bayonet, and Blackhorse, which are vastly superior courses.
Historic Del Monte keeps its charm
It has been a few years since I played Del Monte GC. I now remember why I remember it being such a great old school track.
Perfect~
The best course for walking players.
( I love to walk )
Everything so nice, clean, no delay.
Old Del Monte
Course was in great shapes and hole layouts were challenging but playable for all levels. Mid-day tee times were stacked up so pace of play was slower than expected. Otherwise, it was a great round.
Best condition I have seen Del Monte in. The greens were super fast and firm, all of the new bunker improvements are great. Kudos to the superintendent and his crew. Awesome shape
Good course But No Warmup Available
Good shape, great greens, decent price for a Pebble Beach Company course. However, without any range or even a screen to hit into for warming up, it’s really too bad. Surely the Pebble Beach Company could figure out how to at least have space to hit some irons before playing. No warm-up increases the chance of injury, and without warming up, we waste the first 4 holes getting loose. The following 14 holes were a lot of fun 👍
We enjoyed the round. Nice layout, well-manicured course. Our only disappointment was in finding out that our online rate did not include a cart. We paid an extra $50 for two riders.
