I expected better from a country club
First 9 played quick, had to leave the second nine halfway through.
It’s a nice course greens were good and the staff are friendly except for a fat guy named Mike he needs to learn how to talk to people.
Course is OK!
They need to take better care of the Royal course, fairway grass is uneven; need to smooth out the greens and the tee spots.
Enjoy playing the course; but, need better care of the landscape and the course.
No markers to tell distances on most holes. GPS in carts don’t work. One course cart path only do to overseeding but greens were very slow and tee boxes not cut. Had trouble teeing up ball. All in all won’t be back
One and Done
I have wanted to play this course for years, but never played until today. It is a older course and lakes have been dried up or they were so polluted that you could not see the bottom of the water. They had just closed one course and I was told that the Royal was just opened - in great shape but no carts on the course. When we got to #10, 1st hole on the Royal, they hadn't even mowed the fairway and the grass was as long as the rough. The greens on this course was so slow it was half the speed of the front nine. The GPS units in the carts didn't work!
I've played some pretty nice courses in the desert and this was maybe the worst one.
The carts had GPS but the system was non functioning. So my question is why have GPS if it is non functioning. Your paying $59.00 for a round of golf the GPS should work. Or lower the price of the round. Plus charging $10.00 for our wife’s to ride along is ridiculous.
Nice course for summer
We like this course. However, its the end of the season, so there were some problems: No GPS on cart. Very few if any distance markers on the course. Little or no water in some ponds. We played in 2 hours as there was no one in front of us.
Very nice course!
As I have in my past, I have recommended IPCC for its layout, challenging course, and historical value as of the oldest course in the valley.
It's a good course for all levels of players. Hanger 19 has some of the best food you can get anywhere.
This was probably the worst maintained course we have played in the Indio/La Quinta/Palm Desert/Palm Springs area, of which we have played extensively over the past seven years,
Fairways are a little narrow and greens were sloped.
Played the Indian and Mountain courses and had a fun day.
Looking for fun
Indian Palms Country Club on Monday, September 28th was an interesting experience. It looked like it needed a lot of work and water. It was an nice layout, with houses very close to the fairways. The greens were fair.
Very Good Value for the dollar!
It is a wonderful course, the staff are great. We could use more water on the course and cutting of the second and third cut.
It has a great history and you would be playing where many of the great stars of motion pictures of the past stay and play..
