This course is very challenging.
Excellent course and really enjoyed the challenging layout of the course.
Indian Palms Nov 1 2020
Played the Indian 9 and Royal 9. Indian 9 was very dry however greens rolled fine. Royal 9 was in better shape.
Tight fairways , very fast greens
Friendly & helpfulstarter. Fairways a bit narrow at time. Goodcondition overall. must have sanded the greens recently. They were a little brown and very fadt...
Overall poor experience
We show up and everything seemed to run smoothly then we get on the course and it is not all that well kept. Soon do we realize that on top of greens keepers maintaining the fairways while we were in the middle of play they scheduled us 10 minutes ahead of the ladies’ club play so we had 4 foursomes riding our tails the entire time which required us to skip 3 holes to get ahead enough where we could play at a normal pace. Then when we went on to play the back nine the course manager said that he would have to make us play the front 9 again instead of playing the nicer back nine or he could give us half our money back and send us packing. I said I’m sorry but we paid to play 18 and we will continue on to play the back 9. He was rude and even sent a guy out to follow us in another cart on the back nine to make sure we were playing fast enough. Overall very unhappy with the entire experience. Do not recommend
Thank you Indian Palms Country Club & Resort for helping to stamp out slow play!
I did not realize how many houses come into play. Yes, I have a 16 handicap but, I was afraid to use a driver or a 3 wood for most of the game to avoid doing damage.
I also think the summer sun has beat the course down bad. Lots of dirt where grass once was.
Not a very picture worthy course either. Trees, shrubs and landscape need some attention!!
Yes there are houses lining many of the fairways. But even the fences of the backyards are at least 40-50 yards from the middle of most all of the fairways. So you have to be really wild with your drives and 3-woods to put any of the houses in play. It is the golfer - not the course.
Course in ragged conditiond
Holes were not freshly cut—ragged.
Tee boxes not mowed. Need maintenance work.
Okay course for the value.
Fairways were okay, the greens in good condition. No help at bag drop off. No Covid cautionary procedures that I could see. No carts at time of check-in. Kind of loosey goosey operation. For my first time there, very frustrating experience.
PLAY ONLY WHEN YOU CAM PLAY NOWHERE ELSE
The worst part of this round was the pace of play. Group in front was playing that when one person would hit a shot, nobody else getting ready to hit their shot until the other person had hit, especially on the greens. Course layout is ok, but not a lot of room between houses. Cups on the green we’re very rough. Looked like they hadn’t been changed in a long time. Bunkers terrible, water hazards that were empty and just concrete. Don’t play.
I’ve played in 27 states and Canada. This is not a great course for the area. $30 to $. 40.yes.
Great value for the price. There are a few holes that need work but overall it was a nice experience!
