Poor
Played royal and mountain courses. Poorly maintained course. Weeds galore making it unattractive. Many greens were bald with dead grass. Will not be back.
Needs Work
Course has potential, but is poorly maintained. Some of the greens have large dirt spots.
Cheap but poor shape.
First the positive. The cost was $50.and the carts were nice. However the course conditions were awful. It was hard to find the tee boxes on some holes, there was debris all over the golf course from a previous trimming that was not cleaned up. The bunkers were not maintained and had grass growing in them. Several of the greens had no grass, just compacted sand. In fact we felt on some holes there was more grass in the bunkers than on the greens.
Unfortunately this place has been completely let go. Best to stay away from it
Rambo
The course layout is very good with a nice variety of holes.
The fairways were very dry, but playable.
In my opinion, the course would get higher ratings if there was more watering and maintenance.
All in all, still an enjoyable day..
Good value, too many 5somes
We've played this course 3 days and every day we have been behind a 5 some. It's not the nicest resort course, but the value is good, greens are mostly in good condition, and the members and staff are friendly.
Mountain course was in extremely poor condition. Fairways were nothing but weeds and the greens were dirt. The course shouldn't be using these 9 holes.
quick play
the first nine was pretty good. Great layout and challenging hazards. Some of the sand hazards were very hard packed. T-boxes were very poorly marked. Second nine, all the greens had a blight or some other disease and were not nice at all. Same issue with T-boxes.
Ugly course
This course needs a lot of work. The tee box markers are random painted rocks that are fading not professional looking at all. The grounds are a mess, dry and full of rotting dates and goose droppings. No nice features at all. A rain storm came through and we went to the pro shop for a rain check, nobody to be found. Went to the restaurant and we’re told someone would be right over. Nope, went back again and waited probably waited a total of 20 minutes for service. Don’t know why we bothered, doubt we’d go back.
Value for money
We played the Royal 9 then the Indian 9. Have to say if the course was is as good of shape as the Royal 9 this would be a more positive report. The course is tight with narrow fairways and houses that I feel are too close to the action. That said the Royal 9 fairways and green were in great shape. The Indian 9 was somewhat less green and the greens had several dried out edges and less than perfect grass. I’ve played worse tracks and for more money, so this gets C- rating in my books.
March round of 18
The course is very flat and has a good layout. There is some water hazards at most holes. Course really needs some serious maintenance. Several sand bunkers were very hard and not playable. Greens on first nine (Royal) were decent, but on second nine (Mountain) were very poor - looked like some kind of blight. T-boxes were very poorly marked and colours did not match scorecard.
Bad condition
Won't go back, to many weeds and not a lot of grass. Greens full of po,
Course was fun just very slow as there was a group of eight people playing in front of us.
Course needs alot of TLC - Maybe when you have the 600 additional homes built there will be funds to put into maintenance for the golf course.
Scalped
Fairways are hard and grassless. Can't get under your ball. Greens are fast...thats nice. Cut tree stuff needs to be picked up.
