Course
Golf course is very bad. Never too care of it. Green is all damaged
Should have read the reviews first
My first time using the golf now app to book a tee time, that part went very smooth. The course itself as other have mentioned needs a lot of help. Tons of brown spots, half the time in the middle of the fairway I was hitting it dirt. I several times moved my ball to a more grassy spot just because I wasn’t willing to destroy my clubs.
The tee boxes were over grown, the mulch the grass so there was thick cut grass in numerous places. My wife named this course Hungry Hungry Hippo because it kept eating my golf balls. The crappy thing was that they were all in play or just in the rough yet we still couldn’t find them because of overgrown grass.
All that being said, I still had a great time, any day golfing is better than a day working. I just wouldn’t pay to play here again. Luckily I didn’t have any issues with our golf cart like others had mentioned. I’d spend more money and go to a course that is kept in better shape.
Peprich
The place is unsettled. Some greens were almost perfect ,(#4 on Indian) but others pretty bad. Traps had no sand and the rough hid a lot of balls. Notalot of roll on the fairways so was a challenge. If you like challenges, this is it. Quality of care like a municipal course. It was still a round of golf. I love golf.
Ipcc
Golf courses in horrific condition dirt fairways and trimmed trees to drive carts through greens dirt and dead course is not watered it is not maintained long grass in fairways when there is grass terrible golf course
Yikes
Probably the most unkept course I’ve ever played. It needs a management company to take over
Very poor conditions grass hadn't been cut tee box in poor condition valued at $30 not $65!
Terrible conditions
The course is in terrible shape. Tee boxes had overgrown grass. The fairways aren't cut well. Some holes is like hitting out of rough down the fairway. Around some greens it was cut, and piles of grass just sitting there. Many of the greens are full of sand. Golf now needs to take it off the list. Not worth spending money here. I should have paid extra money for a course better kept up.
Indian Palms - first and last time playing there
Terrible conditions including overgrown cups that covered parts of the hole. Dead carts -- mine and my playing companions, and other carts that were left abandoned in the middle of fairways. Very nice guy at the pro shop, nice on-course marshal, but there's little else I could say was anything close to good about my experience. Too bad. The course layout has potential.
The first golf cart they gave me the battery was dying after the 4th hole. The cart couldn’t drive a small uphill grade and was extremely slow on flat ground. I exchanged this cart for a different one after the first nine and the other cart was just as bad on the back nine.
Pace of play was great because I was the only person on the entire course!!
OVER GROWN FAIRWAYS
It didn't matter if you hit it straight down the middle or just off to the side of the fairway into the rough. The grass was over grown everywhere. I was part of a two-some and it took almost 4 hours to finish. Mind you, we are not professional golfers by any means but we've finished this course before easily within the 3 hour mark. Due to the over grown grass and poor maintenance on and around the fairways, we spent more than half the time looking for the balls. We started to give up looking and just drop a ball so we could finish. I understand it's the time of year to reseed, which one course was shutdown for that purpose but to not even mow the fairways on the open courses for what it seemed to be at least 2 weeks is unacceptable. I spent twice the money in lost balls than the cost of the actual round. I hope the management starts taking pride in this course and get the grounds crew out there more often especially for weekend play.
Poor course condition
Have played this course in the past at the same time of year. Course was always in good condition this time you couldn't find some of the tee boxes because the grass was so long . It appeared the course hadn't had any maintenance in some time.
Don’t waste your money
Worse course I’ve ever played. Conditions are awful and should be free or cost $5 to play.
Poor carts and few staff
The course is OK, the golf carts are old and I had to use 3 carts during my round of golf. This is very sad
Few staff members; but, those therecwere fantastic. It is the lack of effective management.
Indian Palms golf course
Fairways are mostly dirt and weeds.T boxes are long heavy grass not cut greens are rough and dry course does not get watered
I mean not terrible
It was like $35 so I wouldn't expect PGA West but I'd spend a little more for something better. Maintaining a course in the summer is hard, I'm not sure they are trying.
Bartenders are the best part of the staff. But the marshall and pro shop weren't super friendly.
Driving range is bad. Last time I was here they didn't have buckets and gave you balls in trash bags.
Pace of play is great because nobody goes here, so there is that.
Ultimately, I'd probably not play here.
