The 11th is a TOUGH par-4 with great elevation and a false fronted green. Use enough club! Photo submitted by greebs on 07/20/2020

Yes, the 18th is a par-3. Get over it, and enjoy yet another perfect hole to finish your round. Photo submitted by greebs on 07/20/2020

The par-4 14th. A great example of what makes this course special. Notice the hillocks and hummocks on the left side of the fairway. Otherwise, this would be a mundane hole, but this addition collects tee shots and makes the approach interesting. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

Makenzie called the par-4 16th the greatest two-shotter in the world, largely due to the three-tiered green. No room for error long, short or right. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

The par-4 seventh, an excellent example of the course's hallmark bunkering. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

The seemingly simple par-3 15th, which is actually a beguiling hole. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

From behind the 11th green, one of the most difficult par 4s I've ever played. Requires two-to-three clubs up on approach. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

Pasatiempo
Great challenging course. Greens are fast and difficult especially if you are above the hole. Walked the course but recommend taking a cart since lots of uphill and downhill approaches. Played with a person who knew the course and he helped guide me where to hit my shots.
Don't Waste Your Money
This a municipal course that charges way too much for what they offer. It would worthwhile to just walk around the course without playing since it has beautiful flora and an ocean view. But it's definitely not worth the $35 booking fee + $40 cart fee (per person) + $325 green fee. The greens were in pretty good shape but the fairways, no. Also, be prepared for very, very slow play. As far as I could tell there was no monitoring of pace of play but it so, it was not enforced. Our round took 5 1/2 hours and we were waiting excessively at almost every hole. The staff was friendly but not close to the service level one would expect at a course with these high fees.
Excellent classic golf course
Beautiful location and excellent course condition.
Greens are tough. Plan your approach shots to get a good putting opportunity or ball may run a ways.
Rough is worse than it looks. Manicured very well but hard to swing through at times. Stay in the fairway!
Overall a challenging and memorable round for years to come.
Fantastic course, way to expensive
Pasatiempo is undoubtedly a Great Golf Course. If you are not a member, or a guest of a member its cost is outrageous. Yes, fantastic course, but the price is so restrictive It may be my last round there.
course conditions
course was in excellent shape. A funky driving range. Really a well maintained course and very scenic. The staff was really great.
The Wall.
I am amazed of the design of this course. Each hole is different. Mr McKenzie really took advantage of the shapes and contours of this area to his artistic design.I enjoyed every shot from tee to green. Especially approach shots. The sixteen hole shot to the green is a stunning sight. I would like to name it"The Wall" if I may. What an idea to use that area for this hole and that hill site for the green. WOW!!! Course condition is the least to mention. Perfect. GO PLAY guys.
