JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa

Wonderful resort course with pretty challenging greens and deep bunkers. Fairways are fairly wide open. Would golf here again. It is fairly expensive if you don't get a online booking deal from GolfNow.

The course was in excellent shape with fast greens and good fairway grass. Speed of play was surprisingly good being close to 4 hours. The staff inside and outside were very friendly and there to help. The resort is beautiful! We will play this course again next time in Palm Springs.

Everything in pretty good condition. Plush fringe and rough lies. Fairways good not great. Greens good not great. Definitely a bit thin for the first week of March.

Played in afternoon so trying to get 18 in before dark. Caught up to the last of a party of guys slowing play down. Not sure why they were even allowed to even have 5 in a group. I heard starter at Palm tell them they needed to keep to 3hrs 45 minutes but that was a joke. High handicap guys hitting off back tees was not good.

Definitely need a Marshall on valley course to keep people moving. The guys took their time hitting multiple balls and then standing on greens practice putting. Last 9 took 2hrs and 20 minutes. All behind them were not happy as we all tried to slow but it got ridiculous as the round progressed.

Played as a single with a twilight time. Sub 3 hour round - no one in front no one behind. Course is in excellent condition and greens are quick but fair and break true.

Shout out to the starter Robert; he gave a great run down on the course and amenities, very friendly but professional and handled all the people coming and going exceptionally well.

We had a guys trip to Palm Springs and we chose this location because of the review and the pictures. Boy it did not disappoint! We were worried it was narrow and we would lose a ton of golf balls. While the course was challenging the fairways from the tee had plenty of room. We had a blast the scenery for each hole was amazing and super friendly staff. Highly recommended to play it and enjoy it!

Course was great to play. Layout was fun and conditions were excellent. Staff were very helpful to maintain pace of play. Look forward to my next tee time.

For the middle of February the greens were in horrible shape. Some totally bare spots and very little grass i other areas.

The greens were in poor condition!! The pace of play was way too slow , it took us almost 3 hours to get thru 10 holes, and then there were two groups waiting to tee off on no.11 so we left. We went to the golf shop looking for a refund for 9 olds, and the manager repolied that we could play the back side of the lot her course…but by then we already had our clubs brought up and we were done!!! Very diabppointed in the Marriott!!!

Greens a bit spotty. Overall good grass everywhere else. Nice layout.
