Rams Hill is one of the top courses in SoCal. The course is always in great shape. The layout is challenging, but fair. They recently renovated the greens and they are rolling pure. The scenery is gorgeous and nothing can prepare you for the Borrego sky at night. The restaurant is solid. The service is amazing. Everyone is so friendly. Shoutout to Robert and Will for creating memorable events and unforgettable buddy trips

The staff was excellent! They warned me of the green conditions but I was still surprised when my first chip hit the green. The ball came down with a thud, no bounce, & rolled way past the pin. They are new greens & hopefully will mature soon & play more normal. Once putting they roll fast & true. Very fun course though & love the tacos at the halfway house! The cookie when you leave is a real treat also! We had 2 groups in front of us that were slow and I believe that the marshall was trying to speed them up to no avail.

Can't wait to play here again (hopefully with more lively greens)!

The fairways have been poor for 4 or 5 years and are still not good. Maybe next year when they change the grass. Not a good value for the $165.00 fees. We were going to play 3 rounds, but ended up playing just the one round.

I played as a single in 3 hours, very few people out there on a Saturday afternoon. I absolutely love the pristine conditions and layout. Greens are fast and pure, the heat map for the greens on the GPS helps a lot. I would make the drive from San Diego much more often if it were a bit more affordable.

Nice track, ran over a trap spider on the hwy enroute. Interesting trip from Palm Springs, but worth the time.Beautiful course and definitely worth your time. Will play again not with the wife but with 3 Dudes that can handle birdie shots!! Have Fun!!

So nice. One of the best courses I have ever played.

We had a group of six play and from the time we pulled up we could tell that the staff was really invested in our having a great experience. In spite of a scheduling problem that was not their fault, the pro and his staff worked hardto accommodate us. The result was a great day had by all. Will definitely be back to play again. Rams Hill recently redid all their greens from bentgrass to bermuda. And they are firm AF. You'd be hard press to find any pitch marks on the green, even ones that come in high and steep. The grain feels like small rocks, just skipping your ball past the hole. You're not gonna have to worry about the grain affecting your line for a while (just worry about the slope), or at least until they soften up. Being above the hole on many hole/pin placement is guaranteed to fly by (chipped, putt, flop shot, doesn't matter), unless you get lucky and jam the ball in the cup. Chip shots with check still roll out quite a bit. The approach and putting is going to separate the hacks from scratch.

Played the last weekend of the season at a discounted rate, conditions weren’t 10/10 but for the price we paid they were incredible. Course is instantly a favorite, great variety of holes:

-par 3s were great

-lot of great risk reward holes

-hospitality amazing

-greens were tough but fair

Only thing that could of been improved was adding on course service for a Saturday round…no cart girl but obviously the halfway house was awesome and appreciated the water stations.

I'm from MA, and was visiting my sister in San Diego. I didn't realize how much of a drive it was to get to this place. It was a picturesque drive along some canyon roads, but it did take a while. The course was worth the drive though. Conditions were very good, and the layout was very picturesque. The pace was poor due to a couple groups ahead of us, but that was my only complaint. The complimentary tacos at the turn was a real plus too.

Played Rams Hill on the last day of their season, what a disappointment! The course conditions were not good and the service was worse. Our cart died on the 6th hole and we tried numerous times to contact the pro shop but their phone system was not working properly. It took over 30 mins to get a new cart, just to have it lock up a hole later. Played this course several times and I like the layout but this experience makes me rethink the 1&1/2 hour drive to get there! Thanks for the lousy drink token for my troubles on the day of closure!!

Rams Hill is a great layout. It’s a bit of a trek to get there but that’s part of the experience. Hard to believe such a terrific course exists in such and isolated area.

Rams Hill was a bit of a drive but well worth it if you like golf. Great staff and course. Tacos at the turn are a nice touch.

Rams hill was one of the best golf experiences I've had in Southern California. The hospitality was amazing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The course was in perfect condition throughout every hole. Each hole was a unique layout and design that was captivating and intriguing. The balance of holes was fair in challenging. I would highly recommend this to Annie golfer it any skill level.
