Depends on the price
Course is pretty beat up, but for under $40 on GN it’s still a good value. The staff is always friendly and pace is pretty good. For the rack rate of $60 walking on a weekday, go play somewhere else.
Greens are rough
If you can get it for cheap it’s worth playing. Staff is friendly and pace is relatively good. Greens are just in really rough shape and have been every time I’ve played here. You can tell course gets a lot of play and greens never really have a moment to heal. Course is a bit soggy as well.
Greens
Greens are terrible. Tee box on 1 and 10 you aren’t protected from the range. Kind of odd. Fairways are nice, but the greens are unplayable.
Terrible greens
The tee boxes have been terrible for over a decade. Now the greens are in terrible shape.
Poor condition
It’s too bad that they have let this course disintegrate into the pathetic condition it’s in now. It’s quite possible there should be more ground under repair sections than actual decent fairway. The green all have significant bare spots.
It’s sad to see because I really like the layout. It’s a $40 course tops.
Links at the Lakehouse
Super fun course, I know it’s winter so most courses are not going to be like they are in Summer. Fairways were good, some of the greens have some type of fungus but not all and not bad.
Drainage needs improvement, fix cart paths
Been golfing here for 10 years and doesn’t seem to be any improvement of soggy areas and fungusy muddy greens. Cart paths have been torn up for years and need to be repaved. Aprons are always sticky/wet.
New to the Neighborhood
We just purchased a vacation home on the 18th fairway and have been looking forward to play the course and get to know everyone. Luis, Cesar and Todd were Super Friendly and a Pleasure to deal with.
We were made to feel a part of the Family immediately which is exactly the atmosphere we were looking for.
Poor Condition
Greens were very poor
Overall not well maintained
Not a great value for the condition
Fun Round!
Always fun to play here. Has more par 4s then most executive courses
Slow and those tee boxes
So slow
And please fix your non existent tee boxes
Course review
The pace of play was atrocious. There should be monitoring for it. Was stuck behind a foursome that spent more time on the green trying to put than teeing off and playing their ball. It’s a course for an older crowd so I guess patience comes into play. Carts could use some work, duct tape on the seat isn’t the prettiest feel.
Awful conditions
I played this course for years and I’ve never seen the greens in such such horrible conditions. I asked one of the maintenance guys why the conditions were so poor and he said that there were problems with the irrigation system. There was a lot of moisture and and the greens are a disaster. Do not play this course at least until summer of 25 in the hopes that maybe they will start to improve conditions. I will not be playing this course again for quite some time.
