Ojai Valley Inn

The course is in fabulous condition except for the sand traps. They have no sand and you are basically hitting off of compacted dirt.

Travel far to play. the layout is very interesting and fun the actual course conditions are not that great and the service is terrible we played on a day of 90° Plus we saw the cart girl after 11 holes she had no water and no Diet Cokes. she said she was going to go back and get his water i.nstead she sent a guy in a golf cart with hot owaters so that we were supposed to somehow cool off in a cooler with no ice.for the amount of money paid not worth it

The course is stunning with amazing mountain views

The course has some great holes and nice views. It’s fun if you are at the resort for a casual round.

The cons:

A lot of people on the course. At one point there were multiple kids under 10 on a random tee box I was on. There was no starter and the conditions of greens were not great- lots of divots. They did roll true though

Excellent course. Parking on a Saturday was difficult but they offer valet service. Scenic, challenging, in great shape.

First time at this course, a lot going on with pedestrians, shuttles, and traffic; CONTROLLED chaos. Great course from tee boxes, fairways, and greens. Caddy sheet provided to help with layout of course which helped tremendously! White Glove Service from Pro Shop to Starter. Views are spectacular!

The pace of play was horrendous. The group ahead of us was horribly behind pace and caused 2 groups of people behind us to completely end their rounds early. Second time they also double booked us.

I arrived early, so I walked around the property and kinda got lost since it’s been over 10 years from my last visit. This place is a dream come true a 10 out of 10. Everyone was friendly and happy, living in this nice little private oasis. The practice area was great. I was able to build confidence. My first T shot was excellent. And my game was very good all day except for my putting. But oh, what can you do? T boxes, fairways, first cut, sand bunkers, putting, greens. Everything was A+ excellent.

What a great course & resort!!! Every staff member I encountered was pleasant and when asked, very helpful with how to navigate the resort. Starter was great as was the pro shop guy. Driving range was as nice as you'll find. Carts are in great shape with GPS. Teed off right on time.

Course was in excellent condition. Front 9 is tighter and unforgiving of bad shots. Back 9 is a little more open but still tough. A lot of postcard holes on both sides. Beverage cart came around 2-3 times & there was water throughout the course. Pace was good and we finished in 4 hours.

I look forward to playing this course again and would recommend it to all.

Always a great day at this awesome course. Have been playing here for decades. Lunch at Jimmy's, service was perfect, but food was disappointing.

We had relatives visiting us in Santa Barbara, and we wanted to show them a few of the best golf courses in the area, and Ojai Valley Inn Golf Course certainly met the criteria!

We had a fun day with beautiful vistas and challenging holes.

Our only complaint was that we lost several balls due to the very long rough next to the fairways.

Course conditions were beautiful, except for the 5” rough. A ball off the fairway had a better than even chance of not being found. If you were lucky enough to find it, all you could hope to do was hack it out and hope to get it back in the fairway.

The staff were friendly and helpful and I won’t hesitate to return. Hopefully after they’ve mowed…
