Tucked within a coastal valley surrounded by the Topa Topa Mountains, the Ojai Valley Inn is an escape from it all, located just 14 miles from Pacific Ocean and 30 miles southeast of Santa Barbara. Its amenities are unique, a 31,000-square-foot spa village, an artist cottage and apothecary, a beekeeping experience, seven eateries, multiple pools and a scenic and playable golf course that has hosted pros and celebrities alike. Ojai was the venue for seven PGA Tour Champions events starting in the late 1980s.Facts

Front nine is a jewel.
The front nine is great terrain driven golf course design. They need to figure out hole 18 and The Farmhouse.
Timeless classic
Ojai Valley Inn is a classic old school golf course. Tree-lined, tightly bunkered and beautiful. Not particularly long, but you will use every club in your bag. Only disappointment is they significantly shortened the 18th hole, which used to be one of the toughest in Southern California.
A real treat with a very friendly staff. You can play quick during the week, but weekends are quite crowded after 7:30 am or so.
The course was in great condition! The fairways were flawless! Spencer and his staff were tremendous!! Thanks again!!! My
Amazing Course
Great course and smooth play. The most comfortable carts are included and they hooked up water and ice. The cart has GPS and seems accurate.
It is a beautiful course, but a bit confusing in the beginning. The first 2 holes were extremely challenging. Hole number 1 was frustrating. If you got on the right side it was a massively sloped frustration. # 2 was impossible to guess. After that it became easier to get a handle on it.

This is an amazing course that gives you a first class experience on a challenging course. Everyone was so friendly. I’ll be back.
Still has it!
Haven’t been here in 15 years. Had read some critical reviews and was worried that they’d gone through same post-pandemic challenges as others. Turned out to be fantastic - great track, great course condition, wonderful staff and solid pace, especially since slower resort guests let me play through. I’ll be back!
beautiful course
I wish I could play this course every day, but it is to expense, and we play it on special days.BUT it is a must play.
